Can we be called Paizonos?
Hmmm...sounds like it might work. I like Paizonian, but I saw in another thread that that title was originally given to those who actually work there.
I don't usually correct spelling but you linked the definition
It's paisano and the word makes me think of a tasty pastry filled with meat. It makes me hungry but I don't think I'd want to be called one.

Dennis,
I'm pretty sure the spelling is a deliberate attempt to make it a portmanteau word of Paizo and paisono.

My wife calls me a "Paizoan" (kinda like 'protozoan," I guess) or a "Paizo-Head."

Protopaizoans - The earliest or original Paizo-heads
Are we ectopaizoans? - Outer or external Paizo-heads
I've always called us Paizoians.
However, we could all be considered Pathfinders soon.

But then how do we dilineate between members of the Pathfinder Society and everyone else?

There is NO player vs. player allowed in Pathfinder Society Organized Play. NONE. And you can't lie to your GM at your table about what faction you're a part of. We'd consider that cheating. And cheating = very bad for you. We expect members of factions to say, "Hey, GM, I'm Taldoran" and the GM hands you the Taldoran handout at the beginning of the slot which you read and keep to yourself. We've carefully crafted the faction goals so they don't lead to PVP though they can lead to rather weird roleplaying sessions. "You want to do what with his head?"
As far as the website is concerned, you're allowed (once you're a member of PFS) to choose whatever symbol you want next to your account name or sock puppet etc. You can play more than one character if you want -- just keep in mind that advancement will slow considerably since you (the player) can never play a scenario more than once.

So noted. Thanks, Gentleman Alligator!
