A paladin's Aura of Faith makes the paladin's weapons good aligned, unless attacking a target more than 10 feet away, if I'm reading it correctly. I say if I'm reading it correctly because the wording could be interpreted to mean that tha Paladin's nearby allies also overcome DR/Good.
Might it be simpler to simply grant the paladin the Good subtype? It grants the same benefits (better, actually, since it would apply even with ranged weapons), interacts more with existing rules, and avoid the wording issues.

Indeed, that's how I interpreted it.
Pathfinder has the potential to be a better game than 3.5, but the written rules need serious technical editing for clarity and usage before the hardcover release... editing that I have no doubt they'll receive. The Alpha seemed like a 1-man project, but as others at Paizo contribute, I think the usage problems will be rectified.
