Wizard Bonus feats

Any chance we can get Combat Casting added to the list of Wizard bonus feats in either the Beta or the final product. It just seems as if it belongs there.

I'd rather see spell focus and greater spell focus on the list personally, as well as spell penetration and greater spell penetration, as these fit the theme of actually using magic.

Also, personally, I'd rather have skill focus concentration than combat casting - since it works in all situations, not just the casting defensively option, which by mid levels is generally not too hard, while at any level, a readied attack from a fighter can really ruin a caster's day, and I'd enjoy a +3 on concentration checks then.

I agree Combat Casting is pretty much a waste of a feat. You will almost always be better off taking Skill Focus (Concentration) or Skill Focus (Spellcraft) for the +3 in all cases than just the +4 for casting defensively. Combat casting becomes pretty much a useless feat in the higher levels where casting on the defensive is pretty much assure rolling anything other than a one. I guess you could take both to get a +7 to cast on the defensive but then that is serious overkill at higher levels.

Only thing that makes Combat Casting something I would pick is to qualify for some Prestige Classes and then I hate having to waste a feat pick on a useless feat just to qualify for a PrC.
