So let's speculate on what type of creature or place adfjsjkl;adfsjk;jkl;jl;af is! from the chat log Tuesday:
01/07/2008 21:41:28 ‹James Jacobs› In 2010, we'll have an adventure about a adfjsjkl;adfsjk;jkl;jl;af and it'll ROCK YOUR SOCKS, cappa!
Well, James wrote that so it is obviously some sort of demon. :)

It looks to me like JJ may have been taking typing exercises recently, as a lot of those are 'the home keys'. Hmmm. Here in the UK, a company called 'Pitman Training' is responsible for office skills courses, such as typing, so maybe..... :D
Heh... If by "typing exercises" you mean "spent the last quarter-century in which a day that goes by without typing SOMETHING is an unusual day," yes!
Anyway... don't read TOO much into this quote of mine. It was mostly me just tormenting Cappa with a fake hint; his tastes in monsters tend to run to the eccentric (such as the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing), and had I been a little more quick on my feet in the chatroom, I would have claimed to be writing an adventure about something like a half-dragon snapper saw paladin or something nice and weird, rather than just mashing the home row.

haha - I know, but in 2010 and 2011 I'm more likly to remember it to ask about and torment you on where 'this totally awesome product' is if I had written about it at some point

Exactly. And by mashing the home row, I leave an out for myself. Letting me grab the latest adventure we published and open to a random page and say, "OH! Yeah! I was talking about this encounter with the squealer king. Cool, huh?"

and if you look at the #pathfinder thread the logs are posted on there normally within a month (for a well formated one) to a week (for a straight log) after the chat occers

As far as names go - I'd say it has to be one of the Great old Ones themselfs... Oh - the madness, the madness...

By the way, expect "Swimin' Hole of the Squealer King," a Jason Bulmahn Joint, at Gen Con 2008.
Now I really expect someone to come up with the newest module "Simmin' Hole of the Squeeler King" Would be neat to have Nic Logue write it.

No. No. Not Allowed. Bad Touch. No. Mr. Louge does not get his hands ANYWHERE NEAR ANYTHING with the words "hole" or "Squeeler" in the title. That's the law. Or, at least, it is now. Expect more words to be added to this list of things Nick cannot be allowed to write about frequently.

For clarity, those or are Shocked Eyes. I guess the anime ASCII smilies are a lot less common than I thought...

Is this a list of things that Nick cannot write about frequently or a list that will be added to frequently, because with Nick's mind and the later his Paizo adventures will just end up being "You see an plain empty room...100xp"

Haha - I love how this thread got more attention than some of the serious threads I've made in my time here

I'm VERY TEMPTED to stat up the squealer king.
If I did... he'd be an advanced suzerain elite 36 HD squealer.
In case anyone wants to have a shot at this arch-villain first...
The squealer is in Tome of Horrors.
The suzerain template is in Advanced Bestiary.
Is this an open call?

Sounded like it to me. Sadly, I have neither book. :-(

Folks, don't threaten the idea of a thing without delivering at least an attempt on that promise.
The Squealer King, Advanced (36-HD) Suzerain Elite Squealer, Always N, CR 19
Huge Magical Beast
Hit Dice: 36d10+288 (486 hp)
Initiative: +7
Speed: 50 ft. (10 squares), climb 40 ft.
Armor Class: 20 (-2 size, +3 Dex, +9 natural), touch 11, flat-footed 17
BAB/Grapple: +36/+57
Attack: Bite +47 melee (2d8+13, 19-20/x2)
Full Attack: Bite +47 melee (2d8+13, 19-20/x2) and 2 claws +45 melee (2d6+6, 19-20/x2)
Space/Reach: 15 ft./10 ft.
Special Attacks: Born to lead, enchanting presence, improved grab, rake 2d6+6, rend 4d6+19
Special Qualities: Darkvision 60 ft., dauntless courage, inspiring example, low-light vision, sound imitation, stirring speech
Saves: Fort +28, Ref +21, Will +14
Abilities: Str 36, Dex 16, Con 26, Int 8, Wis 14, Cha 22
Skills: Climb +28, Hide +3, Listen +10, Move Silently +11, Spot +10
Feats: Alertness, Cleave, Great Cleave, Improved Critical (bite, claw), Improved Initiative, Improved Natural Attack (bite, claw, rake, rend), Leadership*, Multiattack, Power Attack, Track
Born to Lead (Ex): So long as another free-willed servant of the squealer king is within sight and capable of witnessing its actions, the squealer king has a +4 morale bonus to AC, attacks, damage rolls, checks, and saves. Mounts, familiars, animal companions, and trained animals do not count as free-willed creatures for the purpose of this bonus, but cohorts and followers the squealer king has gained via the Leadership feat do count.
Enchanting Presence (Su): The first time a creature other than a PC comes within 30 feet of the squealer king, its attitude toward the squealer king shifts one category toward the positive, if it was not initially hostile. Thus, unfriendly creatures become indifferent, indifferent creatures become friendly, and friendly creatures become helpful. This shift can be further modified by the squealer king’s actions, or it might change over time naturally. The creature must be able to see, hear, or otherwise notice the squealer king to be affected. Enchanting presence is a mind-affecting enchantment effect. PCs are unaffected by this ability.
Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the squealer king must hit with its bite attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it wins the grapple check, it establishes a hold and can rake or rend.
Rend (Ex): If the squealer king wins a grapple check after a successful bite attack, it establishes a hold, latching onto the opponent’s body and tearing the flesh. This attack automatically deals an additional 4d6+19 points of damage.
Rake (Ex): Attack bonus +47, damage 2d6+6. The squealer king can rake with four claws.
Dauntless Courage (Ex): The suzerain king is immune to fear. In addition, any allies within 30 feet that view the squealer king as their leader are immune to fear effects.
Inspiring Example (Ex): Each ally within 60 feet of the squealer king that can see or hear it gains a +2 morale bonus on all attack and damage rolls, checks, and saves so long as the squealer king is alive.
Sound Imitation (Ex): As a free action, the squealer king can mimic any animal or magical beast sound it has previously heard. Listeners who succeed on a DC 34 Will save detect the ruse. The save DC is Charisma-based.
Stirring Speech (Su): As a standard action, the squealer king can inspire greatness in its allies, granting them extra fighting capability. The squealer king can target up to 13 allies at once. To inspire greatness, the squealer king must make a few inspiring grunts, and the targeted allies must hear them. The effect lasts for 5 rounds.
A creature inspired with greatness gains 2 bonus Hit Dice (d10s), the commensurate number of temporary hit points (apply the target’s Constitution modifier, if any, to these bonus Hit Dice), a +2 competence bonus on attack rolls, and a +1 competence bonus on Fortitude saves. The bonus Hit Dice count as regular Hit Dice for determining the effects of spells such as sleep. Inspire greatness is a mind-affecting ability. The squealer king can use this ability a number of times per day equal to its Charisma bonus (6).
Skills: *The squealer king has a +12 racial bonus on Hide checks in its natural environment. The squealer king has a +8 racial bonus on Climb checks and can always choose to take 10 on a Climb check, even if rushed or threatened.
* * * * * *
Design Note: I still don't know if rake and rend require separate Improved Natural Attack feats or not. If not, then definitely give this freak the Iron Will feat.

Awesome. His AC is WAY too low, though. He needs to be up around 38. Time for the Squealer King (whose name is, I suppose, Adfisjakadacklal) to go shopping!
That's the problem with any monster advanced by HD. They get nice stat bonuses, BAB, saves... but no AC improvements other than a bit of natural AC from size increases, and even that's offset by their increased size penalties.
I have to pull out all the damned stops to get something to challenge my ECL 23/24 PCs these days, in terms of AC... or else go to a monster with the Paragon template applied, which ends up with an AC being about 10 points too high. (Ex. AC 54 for a CR 24 Paragon Vrock - needs to be more in the 42 to 45 range, if you ask me.)

Thanks. Template-ing out monsters isn't all that hard, once you get used to the standard patterns for advancement, though it can take a while. It helps to have legal PDFs of the books, too.
Plus my name is on the Tome of Horrors, truth be told. Literally. "Tome of Horrors" is originally my idea. (Basically, there was a brainstorming session on the Necro boards (I used to frequent back in the days before Clark went all Judges' Guild crazy,) and they were trying to come up with a good name for a monster book that still had the 1e sort of feel, so I just threw it out there, thinking back to the all-time classic character muncher of 1e.)

The squealer is in Tome of Horrors.
The suzerain template is in Advanced Bestiary.
I now have multiple copies of Advanced Bestiary, but alas no Tome of Horrors. That book is getting VERY hard to find.

Doesn't he need some semi-colons. Oh wait, I'm not sure if I know what that means.
