Damn, that looks good. If they manage to get a bit more plot in through some of the little cinematics in the dungeons and keep the combat interesting, it could be freaking amazing. The Witch Doctor seems kind of redundant considering the Necromancer from Diablo 2, but I guess they're more like Necromancer crossed with Sorcerer with the addition of the fire attacks. And, come on, Wall of Zombies?! Bad. Ass. I can't wait to see what other classes they bring in.
Hmm...I worry, because Diablo II is such a great game (I still every now and then play it).
Doesthe fact that there will be male and female versions of each class mean that there will be no amazons? Those are my favorites...

Good stuff. Wife and I are already eagerly anticipating. Rofl, when Diablo 1 came out I PC Anywhere'd the Shareware version from work to home over a 19.2 connection, wrar. We played the absolute crap out of that thing at the time, and subsequently the full versions.
The screenshots are beautiful, it's looks kind of like oil paintings.
Yeah, I need to order the mac version of D2 and fire it up. I don't see a release date, but Blizzard tends to take their time, as far as I remember, to deliver a solid game.

My wife literally died when she saw the trailer. Diablo II was the game that really got her into gaming, and it's the game that made me fall in love with her. Imagine my surprise one day, visiting my best friends house, seeing his sister not only playing Diablo II, but on Nightmare with a lvl 70ish Bowazon kicking the crap out of the denizens of Hell.
She stole my heart.
So the prospect of playing Diablo III together (despite playing multiple mmo's together) excites us both.
I can't wait till "when it's ready".

The art looks amazing; I love the Cain journal. I can't wait to see the other three character classes; I hope the paladin makes a return along with the barbarian, but I don't know if they want to reuse that much.
The anticipation has my poor brain "overburdened."

I'm slowly making my way through the gameplay sample. I loved the way they Barbarian knocked down part of a wall to crush some monsters.

Blizz needs to quit working on this other stuff and focus on making my next wow expansion. 2 years between expacs is way too long, the first couple in Everquest were very high quality and only took one year.
Patience Grasshopper. Try 8 years waiting for Diablo 3. You WoW people have had it pretty good recently. Let someone else have a turn.

I'll be honest. I loved the original. Still play it a lot. I enjoy DII and the expansion, even if slogging through those first few quests is a pain. This one though, from what I've seen so far it just leaves me cold. It just reminds me too much of the first two, as well as Dungeon Siege and Fate and a plethora of other games that use the same basic system. I just can't get excited.
Now, if they added an option to play it in first person...
