I'm wondering why no order for Pathfinder #10 has been generated from my subscription? I know from that chat that others have orders for it, also the shop no longer shows it as a preorder.
What's more, my sidecart lists Pathfinder #10 as one of two items waiting to ship "when Pathfinder #10 arrives." That looks really weird to me. I have my shipping options set to "hold to ship with Adventure Path."
Can you please check what's going on?

Thanks, Captain...
But no.
:)
Actually there was a bug in the subscription system for this run and people's Pathfinder #10s were put in their sidecart, rather than getting an order created. Gary just noticed this (thanks to this thread) and he is scouring the system in search of the bug as I type this.
I apologize for the delay in your PDF delivery, but we don't expect this to affect the delivery of your printed volume (thanks, in large part, to the early detection and reporting of you guys here in this thread).
Thank you very much for the information, and we will get your books and your PDFs to you as soon as possible.
Thanks,
cos

I've found the problem -- one misplaced set of parentheses! -- and have fixed it so it won't happen again in the future.
Next up: Fix everyone's stuck sidecarts. I may get this done today but labels probably won't be printing until tomorrow (which is when you'll get access to the PDFs).
We've had a couple of meetings about our subscription fulfillment process today, partly in response to this problem, and are going to be making some changes going forward so that our best customers (subscribers to multiple products) get their orders shipped even faster.

I definitely like the last part of that, although, I still do not subscribe to all available products.
BTW, you clearly have never tried to forward mail in an SMTP environment using VMS. I believe it is triple parentheses, although it might be more.

Heh. You knew we'll love you for that, didn't you? ;)
Well, great customer service, as usual. Thanks.

Just to add I too haven't had any email confirming that the order has arrived. I don't know if I am supposed to have had it as the technical details of the ordering system are deeply mysterious to me. Still seems like I may be missing something as some people appear to already have the pdf. Sorry if I'm wasting your time cosmo I just figure better safe than sorry.

Gary's in the process of unsticking a few hundred sidecarts, and then we'll fire off more labels, PDFs and e-mails.
Though we've prepped tons of envelopes, the actual books haven't arrived yet, though they are supposed to be here today. We'll do our best to get as many out as we can as soon as we can—I know I'm gonna be stuffing envelopes too—but some of you may not get shipped until Monday. (Most likely, the last shipments to go will be folks with Pathfinder 10 and anything in their sidecart *other than* Flight of the Red Raven, The Samarkand Solution, or the Gazetteer.)

Sigh. Looks like most of our Canadian shipments will be in the "maybe Monday" category as well—the recent USPS changes mean that they're going a different method than they used to for most people, and we can't use the all-in-one customs form for them right now, so they'll take a bit more effort than usual. Hopefully Gary can figure out how to make an all-in-one form work for them before the next batch...

Drat! Drat, I say!
Well at least I can stop spamming my e-mail refresh button. Until Monday, anyway. :)
Plus I have all these tasty indulgences to... indulge in.

I'm in the American heartland, Kansas to be specific and nothing here yet. I assume Gary is utterly swamped by this thing, so I don't know that not getting them is going to be the exclusive province of Canada and Europe. We Americans look to be in the same quagmire. Mine still hasn't generated an order, but I trust Gary is doing the best he can. It will just take time.

Brent,
You've selected to have us hold for a monthly shipment. Your June monthly shipment will be in late June, after Module LB1 comes in.

Dear paizonians,
I must say, every publishing business around the globe should look at the Paizo guys as a great example of how things must be done.
28 minutes between the "In the next week or so, we're expecting to ship the next volume" and the official shipment (which grants access to the downloads).
THAT's a customer service.
Great work, again (and again, and again).

Yeah I guess so. The option for shipping I want is to have everything that I have in my sidecart once the Pathfinder Volume of that month is ready to ship when the Pathfinder volume does. I got Volume 9 around may 10th. So Volume 10 will come once LB1 is ready? I'm so confused.
All I want to happen on shipping is for whatever is ready when my Pathfinder Volume is ready any given month to ship with that volume. Anything left over from that month would ship with the next volume and so on. I only want things shipped via UsPS, and via priority mail delivery. I give up though. It will get here when it gets here. Right now I have Volume 10 and the Flight of the Red Raven sitting in my side cart waiting to ship. So that means none of that will happen til Tower of the Last Baron is ready to go? Aye aye aye.... To add insult to injury the retarded UPS delivery guy tapped my door once and then left a note instead of delivering my minis and module (reaffirming why I HATE doing business with their company) and now I can either go during the 3 hours they are open this weekend or wait til Monday.
*sigh*
Just not my week for getting Paizo stuff.

Went back to find the thread where I asked this exact question about which shipping option to pick, and found it. Here is the link to that thread to explain my confusion on the whole shipping thing.

Essentially in that thread I asked which shipping option to pick for how I wanted stuff to ship. I explained that I wanted the option where whatever was ready when the Pathfinder volume was ready to ship would go with it and then whatever came after would go with the next volume. Anyway, you can look at it if you want. I will change my shipping choices once my stuff gets here.

The option you're looking for is "hold for Pathfinder," not "hold for monthly shipment." One effect of making that choice is that, due to variance in the Pathfinder arrival dates, you may get two shipments in one month, and no shipments in the other. If that's not a problem for you, just head to the My Subscriptions page and select the first option, "Hold subscription items to ship with my Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription."
If you do that, and let me know, I can poke your order so it will probably ship Monday (assuming the truck shows up...)

I hear ya, I'm waiting up in Canada for #10 and am kinda disappointed its not coming until Monday now. *Sigh*
Not Paizo's fault, I know. But now that shipping is costing me an extra 50% on top of the issue price, I'll probably have to look at www.amazon.ca for the next adventure path, regretably.
The problem with Canadian shipping right now is that our discounted carrier price is actually higher than the USPS price, so these shipments are going USPS instead (and our one-piece form doesn't work for them right now). However, once we realized this, we let our discounted carrier know that they need to lower their quote for us for Canadian shipments. If they do, then two good things happen: we can use the one-piece form, and your shipping cost will go *down*. (And in many cases, your shipping time will decrease by a day or so, too.) I'm hopeful they'll make us a better offer next week.

D'oh! Gary misunderstood what you were asking! You want "Hold subscription items to ship with my Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription." If you make that change, let me know.

AWESOME!!! Hopefully they can throw something together for us maple drinkers up here. I know #9 was only Pending for maybe a day before I got the PDF.

Unless you're in the "folks with Pathfinder 10 and anything in their sidecart *other than* Flight of the Red Raven, The Samarkand Solution, or the Gazetteer" category, you should be soon.
For some strange reason the Second Darkness Pathfinder Companion is present in my sidecart...

That's true of all Pathfinder Companion subscribers. When you start a sub with an upcoming volume, we drop it into your sidecart. Since that particular product doesn't ship until August, it might look a little funny, but it's nothing to worry about—it'll stay there until it's ready to ship, and it won't prevent anything else from being shipped. (Making that look a little less weird is on Gary's to-do list... but I suspect it won't get done before August when it's no longer a problem anyway...)
