A fan-made translation of Pathfinder RPG Alpha 3 in French is available at http://forum.le-scriptorium.com/index.php?showtopic=669 (already 782 downloads at the time of this post).
If you have errors to report, please post in the associated "Comment" thread http://forum.le-scriptorium.com/index.php?showtopic=896.
The main goal of this work is to allow DMs who do not understand English (and DMs who do read English but have players who do not) to playtest those rules and learn that interesting alternatives to 4E do exist. Obviously, if Paizo wants me to take this download down, they just have to send me a mail and I will comply. That should be the last fan-made translation, since Black Book Edition said they would produce an official French translation of the Beta rules in Aug 2008.
Bonne lecture !

I didn't download it (since my French wouldn't be up to the task - which is rally funny, since I had French in school for 6 years), but you guys must have really potent coffee to get this translated in time (unless you had alpha 2 already translated and just did the extra stuff).
Anyway, well done.
I think I shall undertake a similar project, translating it all into Saarlännisch, just to drive my players mad (all of which are Pälzer)
Excerpt:
Zwersch
Oft die "stämmische leid" genannd, senn zwersche e saualdi rass. Sie senn zwar 30cm kerza als mensche, awwa genauso schwer, weil se zimmlich bräde schullere onn hüfde hann. Zwersche fenne erd onn schtähn saugudd onn genn ganz gudde schtähnmetze onn gruweleid ab.

Yes, I translated the Alpha 1 rules, then updated the document to Alpha 2, then finally to Alpha 3. It's a few nights' worth of work (good thing I'm currently unemployed), but I'm glad to help with spreading out the word about Pathfinder.
I guess that's what editors who remain close to the players and friendly get: fans that do not mind helping out a bit. :)
