Has anyone noticed that under the new cantrip/orison system that sorcerers are capable of casting more cantrips then they know?
For example, at first level the sorcerer knows 4 cantrips. He is capable (under the new cantrip system) of choosing 5 of them to cast an infinite number of times per day. He can choose more cantrips to cast than he knows?
The problem fixes itself by level four... but still.

It's an error.
Jason forgot to remove cantraps from the spells per day chart. Sorcerers can cast all the level 0 spells he knows unlimited times per day like everyone else.

That's fine, I believe you. Do Clerics and Wizards get to cast ALL of their cantrips all day long?

Yes and no. They have to prepare the 0 level spells still.
A Cleric (or druid) picks 3 level 0 spells from her spell lists.
A Wizard picks 3 level 0 spells from his spellbook.
This is why Inflict Minor and Cure Minor were removed from the game as per Designer Note under the picture of Kyra in the cleric section.
The "at will as a spell-like ability" is what makes them free to cast.

C-a-n-t-r-i-p It's a small thing...but those are the ones that just bug the crap out of me.
It's one of those thing I just spell incorrectly.. I know how to spell it, but just don't catch myself doing it wrong. :)

This I do know. Jason did indeed reply on the "Sorcerers are Still Crippled" thread that they can cast their cantrips an unlimited number of times per day, just like wizards and clerics.
But wizards and clerics still use their "level 0 spells per day" entry on their charts. Only now the number for level 0 spells per day represents how many of their cantrips and orisons they get to choose to be able to cast infinately that day.
What of the sorcerer? Did Jason actually say that sorcerers can cast all of their cantrips at will? I was under the impression that they have to choose which ones from their list of level zeros known, just like wizards and clerics.
If so then the problem of being able to choose more than they know presents itself. (The number of cantrips a sorcerer knows does eventually grow to be bigger than his spells per day, just not for the first few levels.)

I don't see how there's a problem.
The sorcerer's advantage over the wizard is she can cast more spells per day.
The wizards's advantage over the sorcerer is he knows more spells.
The cleric and wizard are still limited to how many cantrips they can prepare they just don't lose them after casting them. That said, a sorcerer would STILL be limited to how many cantrips she knows, she just never reachs her casting limit.
That said, a sorcerer has 4 cantrips always at her disposal while the wizard only has 3. That's one more utility spell, both would definitely pick a damage cantrip to always have readied, but a sorcerer is better offer.

Wait until you see the revised bard. Their 0 level spells have a new name to differentiate them further. They cast Vontraps.
