Cover shots of DCC 53,54, and 55.
Thanks. I'm not impressed. The Dungeon Crawl Classics line is no more. These mods don't even look like the old D&D mods. I've collected all of the 3.5 mods (1-52) and have no plans to purchase any of Goodman's 4.0 stuff.

I can attest that the content of one of those adventures is very much like the old D&D mods. I can't say any more than that, but I wouldn't BS you and I'm not profiting in any way by saying it.

I hear ya.
I'm not down with changing systems either. I just wanted to say that the content was still in the same vein, even if the crunch wasn't. At least one of those adventures will definitely make for quite an old-timey, fun session.

According to this flyer, there will be a free conversion pdf available after August 1st.
Sadly, though, it goes the wrong way. I'll miss Goodman Games, but I won't have any use for their products anymore.

The Jade, have you heard if Goodman will be moving its "Known Realms" campaign setting to 4E as well? Or is the company going to start fresh?

As of now, I know nothing about that, Joela, but I'll ask around.

Coolio. Thanks!

Just to let everyone know, that flyer was done back when Joseph Goodman thought that he would be able to do PDF conversions. Now it looks like the GSL is going to make that impossible (of course, we still haven't seen the GSL, so that could change). Joseph was giving Scott Rouse a bunch of crap at GTS for making his flyers obsolete and full of wrong information. :)

It's good to see publishers besides WotC producing 4e content. WotC's adventures are not always of the quality that I'd like. I'm not very familiar with Goodman Games, but if they're going to be publishing 4e adventures I would like to check them out.
My group voted 7-1 to move to the new edition when it comes out. Given a choice between my friends and a rule system, I'm going to go with "friends" 10 times out of 10.
I hope that, eventually, 4e has Paizo-quality material available. I'm still going to subscribe to Pathfinder but I'm thinking of it more as reading material and inspiration than runnable adventures. I'm also thinking of it as my small contribution towards keeping arguably the best adventure publishers since D&D started in business.

Oops. That TOTALLY puts a crimp in my 3.x/PFRPR/4E plans. Grrr...!

Of course. You mean there's another option?
Right now my groups are staying with 3.x. Probably won't even consider PFRPG. That won't stop me from purchasing 4E and PFRPG. I can always find additional groups willing to play and, eventually, even convince my current groups to give one-shots a try :)

You are a sensible young person. Possibly even wise.
We already know that Necromancer Games will support 4E through Paizo. So you won't have to go far to get your 4E fix.
And please remember, OldSchool to NewSchool; you can still, occasionally, enjoy that 'old' Edition. 'Old' does not equal 'obsolete.' At least to this Old Fellow.
