I have a PC who worships Calistria in my PbP Planescape game. I would like to flesh out the rites of her temple a bit for an upcoming interaction with the PC's mentor/priestess, but I would like to keep it as 'canonical' as possible. I have the freshly-printed Gazeteer which gives me a bit of flavor on her, like her favorite animal (wasp), and the fact that her temples often employ sacred temple prostitutes.
I was just wondering if there are any more sources for flavor out there yet? Has anyone come up with holy days, rites, etc., that I have missed?

Guilty as charged.

Hey, I made the character before the Gazetteer came out. How was I to know that Erik and Mike were a couple of pervs... =)

Doesn't help you now... but Pathfinder #17 will have a big article about Calistria.
As for other sources... if you've got some Forgotten Realms stuff handy, you can fake Calistria stuff by taking elements from the priesthood of Sharess, Sune, and Loviatar. Although she's not that into the bondage scene... that's more Zon-Kuthon's thing.

Thanks James! Darn, I had already came up with the Holy Day of the Sacred Whip, LOL. I will have to wing it and retcon anything that is glaringly inappropriate ... or maybe the sect in Sigil is a heretical cult actually sponsored by some shadowy fiendish puppetmaster ...HMMMMM
Dons evil DM hat

I believe he switched Eir's allegiance to get a whip as a favored weapon. Something I'm sure Thorn can appreciate :P

Jason knows I love him. (Not in THAT way!)
I think worship should be conducted bare breasted.
But then you face the possibility of seeing moobs. *shudder*

EWWW.
I was brainstorming whilst sequestered at my little desk today, and I would venture these several holidays for Calistria:
The Fertilization Ceremony:
The sacred temple prostitutes choose members of the congregation (by random lot ) to partake in a special 'fertilization' ceremony to insure a good year of crops. I imagine that the balloting would most likely be rigged to choose anyone the temple is cultivating.
The Festival of the Sacred Whip
Going with Calistria's penchant for whips and her Luck domain, perhaps a sacred dance performed by the priestesses that involves a highly-coreographed whip-cracking scene?
The Sacred Sting
The high priestess allowing herself to be covered in wasps, perhaps leading to the congregation doing a weird version of the 'snake handling' type of religiosity, except with wasps? (shudder)
Any thoughts?
