In the healing skill, it is written:

"If you exceed the DC by 5 or more, add your Wisdom modifier to this amount."

There ought to be a stipulation that one only adds one's Wis modifier if it is positive.

As you may have a negative modifier, I can see where someone might get confused.


Rules-as-written versus rules-as-intended. One of the biggest flaws with 3.5 editing.
