Ouch !!!! You could hurt some one with that thing

So, the Red Mantis are more a religious group like the real-world Hashashim than a common assassin guild? Interesting...

Or the mantis god is like, their premier/elite member. That psycho they keep on retainer in case they ever need him, but they hope they dont. Like Luca Braze, or the old guy from Boondock Saints.

The Paizo equivalent of the House Borgia must have this god as thier secret patron. Cant wait to see the Paizo equivalent of Lucrezia and Cesare Borgia.

and i pity the local food tasters.

If you dress up in flame red armor i dont think you could be considered a common assassin guild; you better have the chops to pull it off. Otherwise the other assassin guilds may start calling you names behind your back.

(A mantis god? We'll never hear the end of this from Daigle!)

I am looking forward to PF#9, the Red Mantis really intrigue me and with an actual Mantis god of death and doom for them to worship? Too cool...

OK, just downloaded the PF9 pdf and oh... oh my... that's... quite unpleasant.

Seriously it's a terrifying, spectacular start to what's probably the coolest Pathfinder bestiary yet (though I admit I'm biased towards all the India inspired stuff, it just makes for gorgeous artwork).

I now want to run an epic one off just to beat people up with a giant death mantis god.

Thats going to cut into the profits of my noble House's monopoly of halfling laundrymat sweat shops.
