it's kinda funny, but I noticed that even though the skill point system has been added back in, the color text for humans didn't change all that much.
do you think they should have the additional skill points they do in standard dnd 3.5.
Read it again: They get the extra skill rank:
"Skilled: Humans gain one additional skill rank whenever they gain a level."
Could be worded a bit better since this sounds a bit as if they wouldn't get one at first level, but it's the extra skill point from 3e.

The exact writing is "Skilled: Humans are proficient in one additional skill at 1st level. This bonus skill counts as a class skill, regardless of the human’s class."
As I interprate this you choose one skill to get the additional +3 class bonus on (instant gratification). I would prefer to get the extra +1 per level (better long term and a greater motivator to play humans) which I believe is what you translate it as. I agree it should be as you say but I don't think it is at this time.

Skilled: Humans gain one additional skill rank
whenever they gain a levelI take this to mean at 1st level as well
I dont read it like that and I would say it will be corrected. humans always have got more skill points at 1st in alpha 1 they got an extra skill slot . SO for this I think it is just fuzzy writing they had a lot to do after all.
