The Unofficial List of Changes Thread

Alpha Release 2 General Discussion

Since we aren't going to get an official document listing the changes made in this release, I decided to start a thread for the posting of changes. When possible, please provide a page number to reference the change. If the section is not lengthy, please provide both the previous wording and the current wording.

This thread is intended as a reference for comparison purposes. It can be used as a reference for other discussions, but in discussing the actual changes, please post in another thread.

A bit off topic but....

Yet you didn't post any changes yourself.

I always find it odd/funny that people start threads like this but don't contribute to them. Is it just to be the thread creator?

Guillaume:
Mind putting the file somewhere we don't have to sign up for if we aren't already members?

Make Whole changed...

It use to repair 1d6/level. The new version lists it as having a maximum repair of 5d6.

Quite an impressive list Guil!

Linkified for non-EN'ers.

Thanks for that. I didn't have any other place to store it, so I thought that ENWorld was a good place. I've been a member of ENWorld for so long, I'd forgotten that you had to be registered to download files.

As for the list, it took some time, but I made it originally for my group, so they could get up to speed with release 2 quickly.

For the make whole, I'll try to add it in a little later. When I do, I'll inform you guys of the change.

Thanks. Like I said, it was a bit of work, but I'm glad I did it. :)

Wow, thanks!

I made the following changes on the original thread on ENWorld :

  • The file is no longer zipped. I seems that some people were having trouble accessing the archived file within it. It is now a straight PDF. That should solve the problem.
  • I added the omited make whole modification. For some reason I skipped it when I was compiling the file. It's strange 'cause I had noted the modifications on my copy of Release 2. I must have been too eager to finish ;)

Now if only Majuba can change the file on his (?) site. That way everyone will be able to enjoy the fruits of my labour. Have a good read everyone.

Updated (same link as above). Had to leave as a zip - geocities doesn't like PDF's for some reason, recreated with Vista's (*shiver*) default compressed folder stuff.

Thank you Majuba. Here is to hoping no one has any trouble with the zip file... [crosses finger]

To Azoun, you are most welcome.
