The new half-orc favored classes struck me as a bit odd. Not wrong, just odd. Wouldn't barbarian and druid be a better pair than barbarian and cleric. Barbarians strike me as more of an animal-totem-having witch-doctor sort than a plate-mail-wearing crusader sort.
I agree with you. Druid is to Barbarian what Cleric is to Fighter.

Nah! Gruumsh more likely have angry Druids full of rage:
"You Rape our Forest! This our Forest this is! Impale the Humans!" After the adventurers are Headbutted into unconciousness and impaled their corpses are displayed about the forest perimeter, for future reference with sign that reads: Trespassers will be repeatedly violated.

Clerics would still be an option, just not a favored class. Still, I see where you are coming from.
Well, non-desired half-orc babies could sometimes be abandoned at the gates of churches and temples... After growing up between priests, it's only natural they take up the mantle as adults. This could work for half-orc monks, too.
This is just an in-game explanation. Mechanically, I guess good Str + Wis make for natural clerics (or monks too).
Dark Druid. The savage kind that read entrails of sacrifices to fortell the future. Not (necessarily) evil, but primal. Survival of the fittest.
I was waiting to see what Golarian/Pathfinder backstory for Half-Orcs favoring Cleric is going to be. Often their story is cool enough to make me change my mind. Otherwise I am going to go with Druid instead of Cleric as a favored-class also.
I vote for Barbarians and Rangers.
