Has anybody worked up a kit to bump old 3.5 classes to the new pathfinder standard? I poked around a bit in the forums and couldn't find anything along these lines. I mean, it's pretty clear that there's been a power bump, I was wondering if there was any standardized way to keep classes like the warlock, duskblade, scout, ninja etc. on par. Maybe one feat level choice (with options for +1AC, +1CL, Spell-like ability, etc.) every few levels?
I will probably try my hand at an update template in the next few days, but I thought I'd see if anyone else had already done the leg work. Even better, maybe there's already one in the works for the appendix of PRPG?
Thanks!

Well, the Tome of Battle classes, Binder, Duskblade, Knight, Beguiler, Dread Necromancer, and Warlock are all probably fine as-is. If you want to try to salvage Samurai, Healer, Favored Soul, Spellthief, Shadowcaster, etc., all I can say is "good luck". What I'd LIKE to see them eventually do is get permission from Green Ronin to update the Thaumaturge and maybe a few of their other nifty original base classes.

Yeah I guess for PrCs it might be useful to get rid of some prereq's...it seems that the Pathfinder RPG is definitely upping the power a little bit. It's not a bad thing, I rather like not being forced to PrC out.
No kidding. Barbarian, fighter, and paladin are all 20-level classes now.

They were always 20 level classes.
They might have had 20 levels, but the incentive to stick to them to the end wasn't that great. And not just because of powergaming, but also because they didn't offer anything much later. "Ooh, more feats. More smites. More rage."
Pathfinder versions are good to stick to, for both fun and power.

Ugh. The Warlock becoming core in 4e is one of the larger reasons I'm disgusted with Wizards. A rarely-missing missile platform that never runs out of ammo? How the hell does any other class compete with that? What they're doing to D & D is turning it into tabletop WoW. You like that, go to it. I'll be enjoying my rangers and bards over here with the non-munchkins, thank you very much.
