You know you're an incurable Paizo dork when James Jacobs and Nicolas Logue are household names... and you've never met either one in person, and your wife doesn't even game.
Wife: "That's a really amusing comment! Who said that?"
You: "Nick Logue. He's..."
Wife: "I know, he's one of those Paizo people."
You: "Why, yes! Have I mentioned him before?"
Wife: "Not since yesterday..."

Wow. I keep telling my wife I'm on Paizo to meet young hotties... but then she doesn't believe me.
She says stuff like: "If it's a hot young girl why does she look like an owl?" or "all those people look angry...." or "what's with all the monster people?"
I finally explained my pbp to her yesterday. She had this glazed look.

Weird! I am also one of the wife-gets-a-glazed-over-look people. Maybe we should form a club. I'll be Treasurer.
Can I join?
I play VtES one week and D&D the next and she just always asks, do you have cards this week? I have tried many times to explain the difference, but have given up and just say yes or no now.Plus I had to literaly had to fight to get a tiny little shelf and cupboard next to my work desk for my RPG stuff. Everything else has to stay in the garage and I get in trouble if I bring cards in to make/tune decks and they stay in the house for too long.

I'd just like to chime in on the other side of the equation. Also, I haven't had a decent excuse to post my most popular Flickr photo for a while! Anyway, that's me, sitting in my little games room - and the photo is being taken by my wife, who was in the middle of playing that game of Magic with me. :-) She's not really interested in playing D&D, and would prefer it if it didn't take up so much of my time, but she does talk to me about my games, unprompted. She asked the other day if I prefer my PBP, as it must be easier when I'm not the DM - which I thought was very perceptive.
So this doesn't turn into a complete threadjack, I'll add that I have found myself explaining to friends and family on more than one occasion just what "Paizo" is...

Another quick way of knowing whether you're a Paizo dork: Are you a Lord?
I used to be. ;)
My wife works for a bank and she changed the title on my Credit Card to read "Lord" instead of "Mr". Man I loved that card! We closed that Credit Card though and the only argument I had for keeping it was so that I could stay a Lord. =(
As an aside, the final four choices I came down to were "Lord", "General", "Air Marshal" or "Rear Admiral". I've always liked Lord though so it won. I have had a couple of characters over the years named Lord Flash. They weren't Lords, Lord was his first name. I actually put it on the list of names for our 2mo Son, but it got vetoed pretty quickly.
