Players are invited as part of a group of Ameeiko's friends to a party being held at her new inherited mansion to show off the Glassworks and find a new foreman and workers from surrounding cities. Alas, the Scarnetti's have hired barristers from Magnimar and are at the party in disguise about to go through old records to nix Ameiko's claim on her family's business.

I am currently pulling together an aventure as the opening shot in my rise of the runelords campaign.
The basic premise is that one the the characters cousins(sarah), from a small hamlets just below mosswood, is brought into town. She has been attacked in her sleep, and her once beautiful face cut to ribbons. She has survived that attack, but her wounds are beyond the skills of the local midwife to heal.
Hoping for the aid of Father Zantus, her family bring her to town. However, after the intivention of the gods on the girls behalf, her face is left a mass of scars, her beauty forever lost. The Family in greif, ask the players to travel back with them, and help them find the source of the attack.
The source, is a small ragdoll, a poppet(use the states of animated object with an lawful evil alignment and some low level intelligence ) which acts as the familiur to the wife of the villages headman, jealous that sarah is prettyer than ther own daughter.

6. Barn dance! Perform: dance checks, diplomacy to chat people up, sense motive to figure out why, disguise checks to "dress up" for the big dance, knowledge: local to know who's who, bluff check to pretend you're confident asking that stunning girl Nualia to dance...
7. Visiting historian Brodert Quint (sp?) tampers with the runewell and accidentally (or deliberately) re-populates the Catacombs of Wrath with new and deadlier monsters.
8. Attic Whisperer is terrorizing children (and staff!!) at the academy.
