So in our game, sundering the other guy's coin pouch with the dagger made it a lot easier =p

I was wondering if the PCs in my game would do that. I ran a scene before Lucrecia's boat sank in Hook Mountain Masacre, and one of the games available was knivesies.

No pouch sundering, but one of the PCs tossed the dagger into a far wall. I had Lucrecia and a few of her followers talk over this unexpected occurance and "officially" add a rule that the game ended if the dagger was taken out of play.

Heh. Good game.

I believe that move is called the "Vasectomy."

Knivsies has been a mainstay of my home games for the past TEN years. It is an instant adventure hook/save my game activity. Knivsies is many things, but boring it is not.

Never forget the first rule of knivsies...never turn you back on the knivsies table.

I think rules for this game will appear in classic monsters revisited. At least that's the answer I from the guys here at Paizo a few months ago.

Nope, mig-a-mug-tug was a recent addition to my gaming bag of tricks! For some reason, I can't figure out why, its not as popular among my players. >8-]

"Rules" is attributing a little too much maybe...but yeah, the game is in CMR. ;-)

I'm curious if anyone has attempted a real world game of knivesies? It seems like it would be a good way to get the blood pumpin before a game session. I think I'm going to incorporate one once my group and I start CotCT. I have a hard plastic sparring/training knife, and I'll pick up some chocolate gold coins. Mayhap I'll even offer some bonus exp for the players brave enough to test it out. Either way it's bound to get a laugh or two from me. I will tell you all how it turns out. Thanks for the idea Nick! I'll make sure to send you the hospital bill ;-P.
