I have not taken the time yet to see if there is allready a thread on this subject, so if there is, redirect me please.
I recently started running the RotRL campaign with the 3.5 rules. Now, after two sessions, I have converted the PC sheets and NPC stats to the Alpha rules. In my party are a druid, a barbarian/druid, a necro, and a rogue. All of them (except maybe the rogue) were eager to learn skill tricks during the next few levels, increasing the flavor of their character.
But with the skill point system falling away, this is no longer an option. Any thoughts on how to solve this?
I was allready thinking of making skill tricks an added feature (gained at lvl 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20) or to allow players to add a skill trick instead of a skill at an even level.
