Has anyone noticed that over the 20 levels of progression all characters gain 10 new skills, at full rank.
As I see this, just wow. I can't help but think that the rogue might be a little pissed due to this reduces the significance of their skill some what in ratio.
I've got a bit of a fix for that in this thread.
I'm still trying to pimp my Alpha skill point variant ^_^

Absolutely - I posted that same observation last week - but got no responses. I'm glad to see others are starting to see this too....
Its exacerbated by the fact that some skills have been subsumed into other - thus reducing the number of skills to take.
The rogue only needs 6 skills at 1st level now that he doesn't need both Move Silent and Hide; or both Spot and Listen; etc.
Then every 3 levels a new skill can be added; or better yet - every 3 levels in a particular class - thus further emphasizing characters with a single-class mindset.
