I was a bit disappointed to see that those nice "chained" combat feats (e.g. Overhand Chop, Backswing, etc.) do not require a "combo" anymore. That was definitely one of the things in the rules my group really liked and didn't feel it was too "complex".
We also loved that you could choose which armor to use (by spending those Armor Training points on them) so that a high-level fighter in a non-magical leather armor (should he choose to use it) *could* have higher AC than a low-level fighter in full plate. I can understand why this revision was done, but how about a "re-training" system which would allow you to shift your points into another armor (or, with Weapon Training, into another weapon)?
IIRC, Combat Expertise and Power Attack were not moved into combat feats, as I think they should be (not only because they "feel" like combat feats, but also because you shouldn't be able to use them both in the same round). Jason, is there any possibility that this could be done?
Also, about that Arcane Strike... would it be possible that it would have its own "feat chain", too? While I may personally prefer the "lose a spell to get +X times D4 as damage bonus"-version to getting a magical weapon, it would probably feel like belonging in the game if you could improve it (e.g. you could take several feats to eventually get +5 whenever you use that feat). Just some thoughts...
