To Jason, Erik, and the rest of the Paizo gang:
Was there any talk of incorporating OGL material from WotC and 3rd party d20 publishers into Pathfinder RPG? For example, I believe the 20-level spell system in Malhavoc's Book of Experimental Might is OGL. Same with the racial traits for classes from Green Ronin's Advanced Player's Handbook. From my understanding of the license, such material can be used for free as long as such parties are credited in the OGL.

I believe we've discussed such things, yes. I think right now we want to set down some ideas and then look to see what exists and what we can incorporate. Jason can speak better to this, of course. :)

I like the 20-level spell system from BOXM, and numeric scores for alignment from the Green Ronin APH.

Gurubabaramalamaswami wrote:*g*... and optimal would be if existing OGL monsters could be used as is or with just minimal tweaking!Of course, what we really want is monsters. Lots of monsters. Tons of monsters. Monsters monsters monsters.
Did I mention monsters?
I think that is our hope. :)

I'm sure the 20 levels of spells is pretty slick, but I see that as a major back compatability issue. I mean taking a 3.0 adventure isn't going to be easy to convert over on the fly.

We've considered stuff like this, and will continue to do so. But it's vital to keep the scope of the Pathfinder RPG project in mind. This is about solidifying the core rules and retaining as much backward compatibility as possible. So something like breaking down the spells into 20 levels is not really a realistic option.
Are there any specific core-rule improvements you suggest we strongly consider?
