When can you use it?? 1/day 1/round?

What kind of action activates it? Free, move, standard, full?

I'm pretty sure, as a combat feat (and if I'm understanding you correctly) that you can use it before an attack and as long as you don't use any other combat feats that round. Thus, it's 1/round (because you can't use more than one combat feat a round).

From re-reading the section, I am assuming using this feat is a free action, since you use it before an attack and other combat feats can be used with full attacks, thus requiring the action to either be free or swift.
