Not sure what the official answer is Olaf ... but it's on top of a volcano in the midst of a mountain range a fair way inland, so I'd say it's a decent height above sea level ... if that's any help at all.
(In my campaign the mountains - and Cauldron - are high enough to offset the "tropical" temperatures of the region, making Cauldron's climate more temperate).

Any idea how high your average volcanic mountain is above sea level? I have absolutely no idea how big such a mountain would be. As in, I couldn't even begin to hazard a guess. I'm totally clueless on this subject.

Mountain: a natural elevation of the earth's surface rising more or less abruptly to a summit, and attaining an altitude greater than that of a hill, usually greater than 2000 ft. (610 m).
Volcano: a mountain or hill, usually having a cuplike crater at the summit, formed around such a vent from the ash and lava expelled through it.
Mount St Helens: Elevation: 8,365 FT

The title pretty much says it all. Does it say anywhere in the hardcover how high above sea level Cauldron is? And how high does Cauldron rise above the surrounding areas?

Olaf,
perhaps we could help you better if you could give us more of an idea why you need to know this.

Since Sasserine is not too far from Cauldron and is strictly on sea level as it has a port to the sea, I wouldn't think Cauldron to be too high.
The fact that it's a volcano doesn't necessitate high grounds. There are islands near the african continent which sport extinct volcano craters, only dozens of feet above sea level. Iceland is just a big island and has several volcanoes, some still active beneath thick layers of ice. The highest peak on Iceland is 6500 ft.
Since Shackled City is so stand-alone, you can have Cauldron as close to sea level as you require it to be. In case you want to put it high above sea, you should account for a steep path on the trail to Sasserine as this "nearest major town" is equipped with a port.
Cheers,
Nib

The problem with that, Nib, is that the adventure assumes that elevation of Cauldron is enough that there is a significant temperature difference from the surrounding jungle regions. That being the case, as written it would have to be high enough over Sasserine for this difference to take place. All that said, there is no REAL reason that you need this difference and could easily change it for a campaign.
