Is there a way to get rid of an alias?
I play in a lot of pbp games but when the game bites it I have another useless alias. I'm up to about 15 and I'd like to delete a few of them.

I have no clue; there have only ever been four of me, it gets fairly noisy sometimes when they all try to get a word in. Then again, doesn;t everyone have an extra personality or two... or three... ... guys?.. guys?... what?... why are you all backing away from me?...

I generally don't want to use the same name twice. I am particular about names and each one is chosen because I like it and it fits the character.

Currently, there's no way to be rid of them, mainly because removing them has consequences. Who do we attribute all those posts to? The obvious answer is your main identity... but we're just not fans of rewriting history—in many cases, that could lead to confusion.

Is there any way to rename an alias? I had connection problems when I was trying to come up with one, and ended up with an "Anonymous User" alias. Is there any way I can give it a decent name, or do I need to just let it sit there and come up with another alias?

As long as the alias has less than ten posts to it you can go into your account and click the edit button next to the alias.

Orphaned child records and all that. As long as there is not a limit on the number of aliases you can have, I would not worry about it.
