Just curious if Abadar will be receiving a treatment anytime soon? Also, does anyone else have a character interested in Abadar? What info are you using?
Best,
E
I don't have any info for you right at hand, but a dedicated site search should yield something. I recall some editorial comments made about Abadar in reference to what dieties could support paladins, and which could not.
I know you're not asking about paladins, but in the discussion some profile information about Abadar was released.
Also the Pathfinder Gazeteer due out in March is supposed to have at least a dedicated paragraph on each god (the last I heard).

Actually, I went digging in the archives.. Try this old thread. It's not a lot, but it's something.
Abadar's probably got some paladins too, but they're likely to be more along the lines of those paladins who are carreer soldiers who are more into the letter of the law than the spirit of it.

Your work on Desna was indeed a great read for both me and my players. And the art was really nice, so I want as much with following deities :D
Some suggestions, if you get more space for Abadar or can include them without taking off the main info. Those would only be a second layer of icing on the cake, so they are not worth losing the much more informative parts we already got for Desna!
I could use a sample temple/shrine design, either as a small map or art, with short description of what would be found there. (That would be especialy true with evil deities, where I could use it as a fighting/exploration area for my PCs.)
I would also really like to see all items described either as their own art or included in the priests' arts. For exemple, we could see many starknives and the Monarch Talisman was shown as the opening art and as a brooch on the male priest, but I don't see the Starhand anywhere (or was it originaly designed as the sphere that the male priest is holding?).

I just hope I'll haven't to wait until PF #40 to see this done for Pharasma :)
You probably won't... Pharasma's one of my more favorite deities, and even though it might be a little bit before we get to a big writeup of her... she'll have more tidbits showing up in Curse of the Crimson Throne and the Guide to Korvosa. There IS a cathedral of Pharasma in Korvosa's necropolis, after all...

Lemmee guess, Iomedae is one of Erik's? Hence the Starstone connection?
Come on James, she's got a hawt paladin!

This is great news, as one of my players in my PBP-campaign plays a cleric of Pharasma. Tried to convince him to take Desna as his favored deity but he made all his will checks. I'd love to totally blow him away with a Sean K. Reynolds-style write-up of his goddess, but until this happens,I'll take anything I can get.
By the way, I cannot wait to present him to Xanesha. Kudos to whoever was responsible for the monster entry of the lamia matriarch. The inclusion of Pharasma-related lore makes this encounter perfect.
And while we are at monster entries: I used to think that there's no need for new monsters. But man, do I like your work on monsters so far.

Now is the time to let me know what sort of stuff you'd like to hear about Abadar, if the current deity format isn't providing it.
First, I'm a big fan of the Core Beliefs-style of presenting a deity. Your articles aren't lacking any important details, so I had to think a bit about this request.
Basically there are two things which I'd like to ask for; the first thing is, what kind of paladin (if any) would serve the deity of wealth, merchants and law. Normally, paladins don't seem too concerned about material wealth, so I'd like to see how you make this little detail fit into a paladin's role.
Second, it seems that Abadar plays an important role in the normal people's daily life. So I'd ask you to expand a bit upon these influences. The same would go for Erastil. I especially like those two gods because they seem to be the most relevant for Golarion's commoners, experts and aristocrats and in my opinion, this should reflect in your nothing-but-great articles.

Same here, actually. The Desna write-up covered all of the bases I'm looking for. If anything I would say more sayings/prayers, but that is a fairly minor comment.
