I just learned yesterday that we have a mutual acquantice. One of the players in my Savage Tide game is Lee McLurkin. He told me he used to play with you and told me about Mimicry. I have to say that a moon-sized doppleganger is pretty twisted.
So twisted, I might steal that idea for one of my games.

This sounds very interesting. Mr. Mona, can we get more details?

Wow. Please give my regards to Lee!
What he's talking about here is a Living City "special mission" I ran for a few of the top campaign volunteers at "Weekend in Procampur" in Milwaukee about 10 years ago. I was a plot coordinator at the time, and ran a bunch of high-level characters through a lower planes Planescape-flavored event of my own twisted design.
I have the notes for it written up somewhere on an old computer, but basically it involved a trip to one of the lower planes that started in the island prison outside of the city, involved an insane prisoner who thought he was Mayor Charles Oliver O'Kane, and a bunch of nasty fights on other planes, including a nasty battle against a sentient moon (I think it was called Mimicry, and I actually pulled the idea from a Planescape sourcebook).
The best part of the event was that the portal the PCs needed to take involved the insane prisoner beating his head open like an egg against his prison door. The blood that seeped through the crack at the bottom of the door formed the portal to the lower planes, and the rest was history.
Ah, I sometimes miss you, Living City!

I... I can't even imagine the stats for a giant moon.
