Music Suggestions for Hook Mtn Massacre

Rise of the Runelords

Of course I will find a copy of Dueling Banjos to play while they investigate the Graul Farmstead.

Any other suggestions?

Heres a few artits I use as soundtrack for the games I use to GM:

Die Irrlichter (specially the cd Koboldtanz)
Faun
Filia Irata
Poeta Magica (thats the most used CD Ive got for gaming session, I really think my players are getting bored [but who minds? the music is good])
Schelmish
Wolfenmond (this is more suitable for a tavern environment)

Soundtracks:

Conan The Barbarian - 1982
Bram Stoker's Dracula - 1992 (dont need to say thats a great one for HMM, right?)
Apocalypto - 2006 (another great one for HMM)
300 - 2007 (a good choice)
Alien - 1979 (if you want your player to be on theyre toes, play this)
Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End - 2007 (good for battle scenes)
and last, but not least, every Silent Hill (the game) cd you can put your hands on, but I suggesty you to rip some songs and make your own "scary cd".

If they dive on the wreck and/or make a major sidequest of interacting with the vilagers, I'd say "House of the Rising Sun" might just be heavy handed enough for a showdown with the one that got away in Pathfinder #2.

As for the ogres, I suggest "Dueling Banjos" for when the PCs find the rangers and track back to the farm, "The End" from The Doors could aso work at the farmstead and the cover screams "Riders on the Storm."

I do like Doors, Pink Floyd, Marillion, etc... Ive banned every music that could really distract the players. They are distracted enough without any soundtrack or gaming console nearby, immagine if I put some music they're into?

I'd only wath them sing lousely all night long.

Careful... with that axe, Eugene...

Roger Waters' braying horse style screaming would be a good fit, methinks.

How about Charlie Daniels Band' "Devil Went Down to Georgia"?

"A Night on Bald Mountain" by Mussorgsky, naturally. Works great for any fight with giants, actually. The score from Fantasia (the original, not the 2000 version) is still the best, IMO.

Spoiler:

Dead can Dance as ambient backdrop.
I second Mussorgsky.
Tomb raider soundtrack.
Violent Femmes for the ogres. Rockabilly punk!
Pixies for the Mammy.
and the Requiem by Britten for when they find the remains.
Careful with that axe Eugene is a good source for the screaming.

"Comanche" the Duane Whitaker/Peter Green/Revels song used in the "gimp" scene in Pulp Fiction. Works particularly well if the ogres catch the party.
