Wiki?

I know it was mentioned in other threads before, but it there any chance on there being a wiki or something similar so that we can keep track of all this new world information?

I have a group of html files on my laptop that I'm having trouble just keeping updated between pathfinder, gamemastery modules, Blog, and these boards, it would be really nice to be able to share this with the community, and the community here is polite enough to police itself I think

That is a very good idea.

Considering that you don't want author's to write conflicting facts when working on the same backdrop...

also helpful might be a setting message board, where people can go to ask questions about the world in general instead of cluttering up the Pathfinder and game mastery boards.Currently after a 12 hour day at the office (after driving time added) it takes another 3 hours to find and read the general world questions, between the modules, general gamemastery, pathfinder, and ROTR message boards.

Are you volunteering to set it up, Kirstov? I'd use it for sure.

I don't have a site with space to hold it, and have never set one up..I have almost all information so far already written in Wiki form on my laptop though, so I would be happy to populate it... as long as I had Paizo's permission.

but yes... if they don't plan on putting one on the site and would give permission I would be happy to work on it.. and if they gave specific guidelines (no official pictures/maps) I would be happy to police it. I think it would be cool to have one attached to our accounts here though...

That would be really cool. Just want to make sure that we keep Gary's work load in the realm of "reasonable"--the 100 or so hours a week he currently works, as near as I can tell--instead of piling more tasks on the poor guy! If he breaks down, so do the messageboards, and as a direct result, so do a lot of Paizo-addicted fools like me.

why do you think I wanted to make less volume on the boards. Less volume means that there is more time in between problems being found and therefore less work

Gary was being coy. It's been on our to-do list for a while.

If Paizo is too busy and you wanted to start one up, there are alot of wiki farms you could use to make one.

For the record, I'd use it too.

We have several feature ideas that require us to "roll our own."
