Male Dwarf Druid 1

Cort gritted his teeth as the arrow punched into his leg. Glaring fiercely at the goblin who missed him, he shouted at Cormot, "Git that gob with the stick!" Cormot growled in response, and shuffled forward to savage the archer while Cormot swung with both hands at the other goblin.

Attack on gobboe for Cort is d20 + 3= Critical miss! NOOOOOOOOO! Attack on archer for Cormot (bite) is d20 - 1 = 16. Damage d3-1=1 point.

Cort swings hard with his staff but once he shifts his weight to the leg with the arrow in it pain flares up and stumbles to one knee and misses the goblin by a mile.
You are know kneeling

Cormot scampers up to the goblin archer and latches on to his leg with a savage snarl and the goblin yells in pain and starts kicking at the badger.

The bugbear stalks up to \-*^/ and faints with his sword and awkwardly lashes his whip at his legs but \-*^/ easily steps out of the way.

As the badger breaks loose from his leg the goblin hastily grabs another arrow and jumps back. He pulls back the string and launches the arrow at Cormot and it narrowly misses stabbing into the ground.

Looking down at the dwarf (well maybe eye to eye) the goblin makes a swift jab at Cort grazing his right shoulder opening a small cut.
Attack 17 +3 = 20
Damage 1

\-*^/ is up

Argghh, 1st post eaten

This action will draw an AoO, but my only other real options would be to withdraw, take a 5-Foot Step or use a Standard Action to Fight Defensively, and this Half-Orc ain't about that.

Feeling the anger build again at being attacked and reacting purely on recent memory, the Half-Orc reaches inside himself and releases another bolt of his Eldritch might right at the Bugbear.

Eldritch Blast (Roll 6+4=10), Damage, if needed, (Roll 2+1=3) Consistent as always :), hopefully the Bugbear has no positive Dex. modifier

The bugbear quickly ducks and the blast flies over his shoulder and he sweeps his sword around aiming for \-*^/ vulnerable belly. \-*^/ at the last second leaps back and the sword shreds his shirt even more.

Missed by one
Cort is up

Male Dwarf Druid 1

Cort winced as he got knicked again. Deciding to try to fight on the ground, Cort again tried a double handed swing at the pesky goblin.

Cormot hissed at the archer and followed, clawing and biting with all his might.

Cort: d20 + 3 - any modifiers you might give him= 19. Damage d6 + 3 = 4.
Cormot: Claw 1 d20 + 4 = 16 damage 1 Claw 2 d20 + 4 = Crit miss. Bite - 1 = 13 damage d3 - 1 = 2.

The dwarf glanced over where the halforc was blasting with strange magic. Ah, a sorcerer, I guess he thought.

Cort swings his staff around and lands a crushing blow on the goblins knee and a loud pop can be plainly heard. The goblin yelps in pain and limps back a step.

Cormot tears into the goblin furiously biting and clawing anything he can reach. The goblin manages to kick off the badger but is bleeding profusely from several wounds.

The bugbear steps forward swings his sword in an overhead chop down towards \-*^/ but he misjudges the distance and hits only air.

With his knee failing to hold his weight the goblin clumsily swings his sword at Cort and cuts away a good size chunk of fur and leather from his chest. Cort quickly realizes that his armor saved him from a terrible wound.

The goblin grabs an arrow and fearing the badger would attack again quickly fires at the animal. The risk payed off as the arrow pierces the badgers shoulder.
Attack 18 + 3 = 21
Damage 4
Cormot now gets an attack of opportunity

Male Dwarf Druid 1

Cormut's attack of opportunity misses.

Back to the Caravan sorry for the long wait.

Roderick, off in the shadows watches as the guard is thrown to the ground from the javelin and then pounce on by two more goblins. Grabbing his bow he notches and arrow and let fly at one of the goblins.
Attack 2+4 = 6 Sorry about the crappy roll.

With his eyes not adjusted to the darkness quit yet the arrow flies over the goblins head.

Further along the tree line more goblins pour into camp three overwhelm a guard and slaughter him as two more fire bows into the camp. Behind the goblin you can see two large shapes step out of the trees heading for camp.

Tuon is up

Human Cleric (Thor) 1, Hits

Fair Tuon Clawed carefully watches the fight developing and tries to assess the more dangerous targets. Briefly his eyes flash red like rubies in the night.

DM

Spoiler:
Tuon uses a standard action to manifest vigor which gives him 5 temporary hit points taking him to 20 hit points for the next ten rounds.

Then he strides up to Bri calling for the Roderick to move closer. By the time he reaches the halfling, Tuon has his sword and shield at the ready.

Cormot lunges at the goblin but in spite of his injuries he dodges away.

\-*^/ is up

Cort are you going to handle Cormots rage or am I?

"Beeeg Furvey Deevill. Now ZU Die!" With this yell of anger and frustration, the memoryless Half-Orc reaches even deeper into his being and launches more of his magical essence at the bugbear.

Eldritch Blast (Roll 8+4=12), Damage, again if necessary, (Roll 6+1=7) Please hit! Please hit! Don't make a Half-Orc grovle.

The blast flies from his hand and slams into the bugbears chest scorching a large hole in his armor and blackening the skin underneath. The bugbear howls in pain but swings in with his whip once again.
Attack 16 Str check 14 to trip

The whip wraps around \-*^/'s leg and the bugbear tugs hard trying to trip him.

Make a Str of Dex check and then a AOO if you pass your check

Strength Check (Roll 16+3=19)

The Bugbear staggers back from the Half-Orc's arcane blast. He tries to set himself, wrap the whip around the Half-Orc's leg, and pull. The Bugbear has no leverage though, and the Half-Orcs plants himself firmly. The Half-Orc smiles at his enemy's disadvantage and searches deep within himself once again sending his eldritch might at the large goblinoid.

Eldritch Blast (Roll 2+1=3) Screw damage and screw my dice!

\-*^/ pulls back his leg ripping the whip from the bugbears hand as another jet of energy shoot wide of his head.

Cort is up

Male Dwarf Druid 1

"Hurry 'n die!" Cort shouted, swinging again.

Meanwhile, Cormot's mind is filled with rage, and he savages the archer.

Cort: d20 + 3 = 16. Damage d6 + 3 = 9. 'Bout time.
Cormot: RAGE! Claw 1 d20 + 6 = 13. Miss, prolly. Claw 2 d20 + 6 = 14. Damage d2 + 1 = 3. Bite d20 + 1 = 13. C'mon!

Cort exchanges a few faints and lands a devastating blow to the goblins neck, bones crack and the goblin collapses his head twisted completely around.

Cormot in his rage leaps at the goblin but miraculously the agile warrior stays just out of reach.

Seeing his closest ally fall the bugbears grin slowly fades from his face and his frustration from not being able to hit an unarmed unarmored half-orc reaches it's breaking point.
"Raaaaaa" lunging forward with a savage yell he grabs his sword with both hands and swings at \-*^/ neck. \-*^/ ready for the savage blow twists backward only gets a large cut on his chin instead of loosing his head.

Staying just out of reach of the ravenous badger the goblin grabs an arrow and as he pulls back the string his bow shatters. The top half slams into his face knocking him on his back and into darkness. critical fumble

Wells you guys are not the only ones that are rolling badly, which is good because I was worried the bugbear was going to tear you apart.
\-*^/ is up

Back to caravan
Two guard jump behind some barrels and start launching arrows at the goblins streaming into camp. One goblin staggers with an arrow in his leg but the other arrow misses its mark.

The one of the goblins standing over the guard swings down his morningstar crushing the poor mans head. The other leaps toward Bri slashing with is spiked club but swings wide of his mark as she agilely leaps out of the way.

Bri is up

Out of the corner of his eye, the Half-Orc catches the destruction of the goblin and the hands of his Dwarf savior. The momentary destraction almost costs the Warlock dearly but is able to avoid a death swing from the Bugbear and only catches a cut along his face.

His hand goes to the wound and pulls away a weak stream of blood. Then glancing back at the Bugbear with renewed anger he strikes out with another blast of Eldritch might. "Die! Now!"

Eldritch Blast (Roll 19+4=23), Damage (Roll 4+1=5)

The bugbear stagger back as another blast of energy hits him. Snarling he delivers a quick thrust towards \-*^/. His large sword stabs the half-orc in his unprotected upper chest.
Attack 16
Damage 3
Had to happen sooner or later :/
Corts up

DM, Do you know my HP status. I think I may be in the negatives again. :(

\-*^/ wrote:

Yeah, lets see how Cort and Cormot do.

Male Dwarf Druid 1

Cort grinned as his blow damn near took the goblin's head off. "Ha! How d'ye like-" he was saying as he turned towards the bugbear, and saw the halforc fall to the ground, slipping free of the blade in his chest. "Bastard!" Cort shouted at the bugbear. "I jest patched 'im up!" The druid then staggered on his wounded leg and advanced, swinging mightly.

Cormot is savaging away; he's pissed about the arrow business.

Cort: d20 + 3 = 17. d6 + 3 = 7.
Cormot: Five foot shuffle and coup de grace.

The end of the quarterstaff smashes into the bugbears throat crushing his larynx and he collapses choking on his own blood.

Cormot scrambles toward the downed goblin and tears out his throat with a savage shake of his head.

Well done we are now out of initiative.
you each get 500 XP

XP - YUM!!!

In case you want a percentile role for stability, I rolled a 76. Gee, now I roll high! :(

The crossbow bolt flies over the goblins shoulder narrowly missing him.

Roderick you are up

For Cort and \-*^/

Here is the situation.
\-*^/ is has hp of -4 and not stable yet, Cort and Cormot are injured but far from in trouble and the two goblins and bugbear are dead.

Male Dwarf Druid 1

Cort winced as he touched the arrow wound gingerly. Glancing down, he saw that the half-orc was still bleeding out. "Damn!" he cursed, carefully lowering himself to get a good look at the half orc. He then treated the wounds, cursing the entire time.

Take ten on First Aid.

He then looked over as Cormut suddenly exhausted himself. "Cormut, help me find a safe place," he ordered, carefully extracting the arrows from himself and his badger. He then picked up the halforc in a fireman's carry, grunting at his extreme weight.

Me and Cormut will try to find an ABANDONED cave or something to hide out in. Survival check d20 + 11 = 28. If all else fails, I'll try to convince Cormot to dig us a hole. Then, I'll use long-term care on the half-orc. Might be a little tough, since I don't have bandages...

\-*^/ is now stable.

Cort looks around and gets his barrings and remembers there is a small grove of trees he has stayed at in the past that is quit protected.

Cort lifts the half-orc and carries him the half mile to the grove and lays him in some leaves.

The grove is pretty much the same as Cort last saw it, two large trees next to each other finally joined about eight feet up and formed a small cave closed on three sides. Behind the tree is a shear cliff preventing anyone from approaching from behind and the whole area is surrounded by thick willows hiding the grove from the casual passer by.

The Half-Orc lays there unconscious in the grove. His breathing is weak but steady, and the Dwarf was able to stop the flow of blood from his many wounds.

DM, At what point, if needed, would you like me to post for Roderick?

Lets wait until Monday to post for him, the other two are in no big hurry. The only problem is keeping you and Sect busy while they catch up.

No problem. Since I'm lazy, I'll just say I spend the next few days gathering supplies, and performing long care healing on the half-orc. Unless Unpronouncable Name has any objections, I'll see you on Monday.

Male to Charles, my favorite pizza shop Dork 10, Husband 5, Paizonite 5, Accountant 0, Self-Entertainer 12

Fine by me also. Just didn't want to hold up the caravan group in case they want to kick some goblin butt. FYI: won't be around much on Sunday, off for a day at the Bronx Zoo.

Cort spends most of the day gathering fire wood and making the grove a little more comfortable for the injured half-orc. Over the next two day \-*^/ and Cormots wound start to heal under Cort care and even his leg is feeling better, only the slightest limp is left.

Final during the second day \-*^/ starts finally regains consciousness and finds Cormot the badger staring at him as Cort is out gathering some food.

\-*^/ hp's are now 1 and Cort and Cormot are completely healed.
I will be done posting until Monday, feel free to role play if you want, if not we will pick up here on Monday. See Ya

The Half-Orc's breathing is less shallow. He can feel soft dirt and dry leaves under his face. Light starts to enter through his opening eye lids. "Uuuuuuu," he moans slightly in a husky voice. "Vut happeeened?" Slowly his eyes focus. He is in a shaded, hidden grove. He sits up and looks around and sees the 'furvey deevil' from before when he was inside the cave, but this time he remembers that the creature is an ally of the Dwarf.

"Zo my furvey friend, Vhere eis zat Dwarf of zours?"

Taking in a few deep breaths, his stomach rumbles like an earthquake. The Half-Orc is very hungry.

Female Halfing Rogue

What no playfulness in you today?

Roderick, with bow still in hand, knocks another arrow and searches for a good target. Speaking quietly to himself, "OK vermin, If we are going down, then so are you." At this he launches the arrow at a suitable target.

Ideally Roderick is aiming for a goblin not involved in melee that he has a clear shot at.

Longbow Attack (Roll 10+4=14) Damage, if App. (Roll 6+0=6)

Rodericks arrow flies at the goblin that just finished off the guard and his aim was true but it glances off the goblins armored shoulder.

Further down the camp the goblins surround a wagon and two fire back arrows at the guards behind the barrels neither coming close to hitting anything but the ground. The other two grab anything they can and start throwing it in the wagon.

Tuon your up

Human Cleric (Thor) 1, Hits

Tuon attacks the goblin at Bri.

Attack roll 4+3=7

"We could be here a while," he murmurs to himself.

Then he tries to spot the large threats in the shadows.

"Rod, get closer, I can't protect over there."

As the goblin nimbly jumps back from the sword swing Tuon notices two dog headed creatures leading the two largest wolves he has ever seen into the fire light towards the wagon the goblins have surrounded. The worgs growl and snap at their masters trying to join in on the fight but one of the gnolls lays into one with his whip and maintains order.

The two guards, though visibly shaken from the huge worgs, continue to fire at the goblins shooting arrows at them. One arrow sticks into the wagon and another arrow catches the goblin in the throat sending him to the ground.

Bri continues to hop around staying out of the goblins reach as he growls in fury with not being able to hit her.

Now that the guards is dead the goblin turns to Tuon and swings a heavy backhand into Tuons leg but his armor dampens the blow.

Here is the setup now
the goblin attacking Bri is between Bri and Tuon with Bri on the left, Roderick is 30' south east of the goblin on Tuons right. The gnolls, worgs and other goblins are 70' left of Bri.
Bri is up

The Half-Orc looks over at Cormot, "Zo, Vhere eees zour' frieeend zat?" He then stands up and walks slowly around the hidden glade to get movement back into his body. "Zo," he asks himself quiety, "Who am I, and vy am I here?"

Bri is up

Bri takes 5 steps away from the Goblin that is attacking her. Grabbing yet another bow she reloads her bow and aims yet again at the goblin hoping that she doesn't trip and accidentally shoot Tuon instead. attack:18+5=23+2=25 for flanking, damage: 2+2=4 Bri looks towards Tuon hoping that he can attack from behind while the goblin is hurt from her hit. Tuon, attack it while it is hurt"

Bri's crossbow bolt catches the goblin right in the chest stabbing through his armor and into his heart. He gaps at the halfling and collapses to the ground.

Roderick is up

Roderick looking around, then looking at Tuon, "Brother, I'm going for the leaders. Take out this fodder surrounding you, then let's focus on those dog-stinks. Kill the leaders and we should create chaos throughout their ranks."

As he is screaming this, the Ranger is moving into a strategic position for distance and Line-of-Sight to fire at one of the Gnolls. Probably the one barking the most orders.

Longbow Attack (Roll 16+4=20), Damage (Roll 5+0=5)

Human Cleric (Thor) 1, Hits

I don't think there are any around me, DM?

Tuon moves towards the wagon and stops. He braces himself for the battle.

DM

Spoiler:
Move 30 foot then try to focus Concentration check roll 17+5=22, success.

Roderick charges toward the gnolls and lets an arrow fly, it strikes the one barking and yelping at the goblins right in the throat. The gnoll's yelps quickly turn to a gurgle as he falls forward into a campfire and the night air fills with the stench of burnt hair.

Two goblins draw two arrows and turn their bows on Roderick, firing at the ranger.
Attack 18+3=21
Damage 1
Attack 19+3=2
Damage 4

The arrows soar at Roderick and one grazes his arm leaving a deep cut and the other drivers through his armor into his hip.

The other two goblin try to calm the worg as it goes berserk from seeing it's master on fire.

Tuon is up, there is a goblin next to you and Bri so you can redo your last post real quick.
