Has anyone else noticed how Logue just follows Pett around in all of these threads (envy)? Also, i've noticed that anytime someone praises his (very good) work, he appears as if by magic within seconds (its as if he devours these posts) -- I mean seriously post praise for Logue and then try to make a second post and before you can complete your first sentence, Logue will appear by magic? I'm trying to decide whether Logue is the Runelord of Envy or the Runelord of Gluttony - I'm developing a theory that Logue is the last survivor of ancient Thassilon.
So how do you vote? Envy or Gluttony?

He can't be one of the mundane Runelords, since there are already seven: Jason Bulmahn, James Jacobs, Mike McArtor, Erik Mona, F. Wesley Schneider, James Lafond Sutter, and Jeremy Walker. He is the penultimate Runelord...
... Though, we have no idea what that one is.
In any case, what are the others the Runelords of? I suggested that Mike McArtor is the Runelord of Lust.

Hey, congratulations, David! That looks sounds intriguing. The premise looks fun. Tell me a little bit about Etherscope? It looks Steampunk.

Haha! I steal your thunder, Nic Logue!
*Ahem*
Etherscope is Victoriana-Cyberpunk-Horror. What if 1880's scientists had discovered the Ether is actually a portal to a 1980's futurist's vision of the internet but accessing it might have awakened some great old ones. What I really like about the setting is that you've got some leeway with how much of any element exists in your game. You can play it as an upperclass drama, where the supernatural is a party game, and cybernaughtics are something for the working class. Or you could play elite hackers in the Scope who unlock Secrets Man Was Not Meant to Know. Or cyborg-soldiers and neo-cowboys in war torn South America. And so on.
The outline for Cinnamon Rose was written by Ben Redmonds (one of the creators of the Etherscope) for Gen Con '06, so it has a little of everything. Unfortunately, Ben wasn't able to make it to GenCon, so I had the honor of running it there, and also of writing it up for publication. If I were pitching it I'd say: '24-Hour Party People' meets 'The Matrix'.

Sounds very cool. Which sourcebooks would I have to buy to be able to run Etherscope?
Just the core rulebook. Which conveniently includes 'Cinnamon Rose'. :-)
