Pbp looking for two more; Savage Tide

Short story long, we started a Savage Tide campaign, and our DM went AWOL; we're still not exactly sure what happened to the poor guy. We haven't gotten too far, so we're going to soldier on (with me pulling out my barb to DM instead). If either Heathy or Sect want in, they have priority, because they were the original two alts for the campaign.

Requirements:
1st level character.
Can post at least once every 24 hours.
500 starting gold.
3.5 sources that you can cite.

I'd love to, but I'm in 2 allready and I don't want to hog rare player slots, and I'm about to get real busy at work and at home; I have a new tech to start training next week and my wife is expecting a baby in mid-October. I also want to get my crap together and run something one of these days...

Don't worry about being a first timer. Pbp is in extreme slo mo; you have ample time to figure out what's going on. I started a game a month ago; I was rusty as hell from not playing period; it's so slow that I have plenty of time to look through books and figure out what the heck I want to do.

Cool deal, welcome aboard to the both of you. PbP is a very forgiving format, I think (hope) you will enjoy it. If it is ok with you both, we'll move over to the other thread, and you can hammer out your characters with the other players. If you have any questions, I'll get back to you as soon as I wake up (I usually sleep between 3pm and 10 pm eastern).
