Paizo Really is the Best

Customer Service

I want to start out by saying 'Thank You' to all the fine people that work at Paizo. Here is why:

A few weeks ago I was injured at work. During this period, I was running a Play-By-Post on the Paizo Messageboards. I posted a quick message to my fellow players mentioning that my posts would be inconsistent for a time and please bear with me.

The staff at Paizo found out of my ordeal while monitoring the messageboards and were amazingly supportive. Today I received a 'Getwell Card' signed by many of Paizo's personnel. I am just one little customer 3000 miles away, but Paizo took the time recognize that we are all important to them. Now that is Customer Service!

So to end, if you have not subscribed to Paizo's excellent products, please reconsider. Together let's keep Paizo strong and thriving so they can continue to deliver excellent products with amazing Customer Service.

Cheers

That is a great story. Well, not the part where you were injured. But everything surrounding it was great.

I'll add in my support of Paizo. It is a great company all the way around.

More should be run the same way.

Keep up the trend, Paizonians. There are many of us who appreciate it!

That's very heartwarming. That's one more reason I'm in full support of what Paizo is doing as opposed to what WotC is doing. Paizo and its staff seems to care about its customers.

I assume Paizo wasn't always this great, so what happened?

Well, between you and me, I heard that everyone on the team got a midnight visit from the "Spirits of RPG Publishing Companies Past, Present and Future" one night. Surprisingly, Gary Gygax wasn't any of them: once he hit 20th level, he exists outside of time.

*sniffles*
I'm with you Utak. I got a "get well" card as well from the Paizo staff about my appendectomy.

*sniffles*
You guys are great...

Scarab Sages

That is so cool of them to do that!

Paizo gang: y'all rock!

Utak: glad you are doing better.

Was there a prior team or something? I read some post recently by somebody who came back to the company after being convinced that they were "really and truly different from the Paizo of a few years ago".

This place is so cool.

I'll be hunted down and killed for outing this, but the entire staff has been possessed by the disembodied spirit of Orson Welles. Brawk! Run for it mates!

I think what makes Paizo so terrific is, they screw up a lot (read on).

BUT

They admit it.
They apologize.
They fix it.

That's crazy talk, and I love them for it.

In this day when many companies see their customers as little more than a dollar sign, it is very heartening to see a company actually attempt to connect with their customers.

I have called customer support and the gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and more than helpful in straightening out my issue. I wish more companies treated their customers this way.

I beg you, Paizo, remember this as you grow.

I've wandered about Paizo-land for a little over two years and they've always been totally customer-focused and awesome. It's hard to image they used to suck. I don't buy it...

Oh, but I'm glad to hear you (both of you) are feeling better!

Great customer service testimonial. Little things like this mean a lot. It doesn't hurt that the company is pretty responsive to order questions and so on. Now, if we can just have a little talk about not bending battle mats for shipping :) (just kidding, BTW, mine flattened out just fine with a little warm water). Nice work Paizo. More money for you - I'm sure I can find something to buy in the next week or so.
