This post seems to break the rules of the thread.

Scarab Sages

Deliberative fomentation.

Cthulhu! Cthulhu fhtagn!
(Post advocating that if everyone resolved their differences with a nice game of Call of Cthulhu there would be far more niceness in the world and psycho-analysts would go out of business.)

Scarab Sages

Egalitarian chanting.

The Exchange RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16

Outraged claim that chanting is irreparably broken in 3.5.

Expressed joy that chanting will finally work right in 4th Edition.

(If cultists of Hastur had a messageboard.)

Scarab Sages

Willy nilly yammering.

Pointed remark endorsing the efficacy of chanting in 3.5 for individuals who play correctly. Suggestion that a more recent edition might be more to the tastes of others, hinting that these tastes indicate an inadequate play style.

Scarab Sages

Frolicsome caterwauling.

Caps-locked obscenities.

Call for more Cthulhu in all forthcoming editions. Demand for Wolfgang Baur to be chained somewhere in the penthouse suite of a five-star hotel (with family and friends if required) churning out evil minions of Lovecraftian horror.

Flippant query deliberately misreading previous poster's claims that Wolfgang's children are eldritch abominations.

Idle speculation regaring Nick Logue's parentage.

Pointless assertion that poster has returned from non-posting, despite posts on other threads made earlier.

Flippant query deliberately misreading previous poster's claims that Wolfgang's children are eldritch abominations.

Idle speculation regarding Nick Logue's parentage.

Post pointing out:

1) That being a professional writer, Wolfgang's published work, including his bestiary contributions could indeed be metaphorically considered 'his children'.
2) That Nick Logue's name, like that of certain other horrors such as 'Hastur' are best not cited.

Drat. And I just cited both of them.

Expression of hope that Great Cthulhu will show up rather than either Nick Logue or Hastur (gah! just cited them again) since at least Cthulhu gets the killing you and driving you insane bit over relatively quickly.

Edit demanding more YOG SOTHOTH, in the hope that this will counteract any (...must resist citing the names again... SUCCEEDS!) madness of other sorts.

Off-topic question about issue completely unrelated to gaming.

Observation that the answer is likely 42. Or Yog-sothoth. Or some combination of Yog-sothoth and 42.

Resumption of demands for more Cthulhu.

Emphatic expression of gratitude, followed by indication that poster lacks any comprehension whatsoever of the advice he was given, likely leading to his doom in short order.

Angry statement sounding suspiciously like a certain wool-producing agricultural mammal.

Fart jokes.

Expression of amazement that great Cthulhu has successfully transformed Kobold Cleaver into a wool-producing agricultural animal. Supicions added that perhaps Kobold Cleaver may have participated willingly in the transformation in order to be able to better 'fleece' certain dragons of their hard-earned cash.

Scarab Sages
