Why am I not Charter Subscriber?

Customer Service

When the news spread out that Dragon and Dungeon are dead I almost immediately subscribed to Pathfinder, started to translate your blogs into German with other community members to promote your product over here, but now it seems I am no Charter Subscriber, haven't received anything, but an e-mail that told me that there will be an e-mail.

I know it was a very very busy time for you all at Paizo, doing the last issues of our beloved magazines and introducing the world to the best quality of game products from a third party. At the beginning "my order history" and "my subscriptions" page didn't recognize my new subscription to Pathfinder. So I waited some time and tried it again, subscribing twice, a thing I would love to do, but my purse wouldn't allow me to do so. So I wrote an e-mail, which was answered: "Yes, of course we can cancel one of those two subscrptions, and yes you are a charter subscriber, although the boards don't show it." Then you debited (?) my account for two full subscriptions, put the money immediately back on my account and cancelled both! hm...

Right now I am sitting in my kitchen, waiting for my first Pathfinder and feel very frustrated because: I am no charter subscriber (I don't mind the lack of prestige, but the free player's guide and somehow the feeling to be part of this great thing from the beginning) and that for a very long time!

You know your products are top notch and your customer service is polite and quick, but the waiting periods on your products are horrible as the confusion in my mind and account! :(

You are a charter subscriber as evidenced by your tag by your name when you post. I'm guessing that you should be getting your email with the PDF within the next day or 2. The staff stated that They were manually making sure the forms were correct or something for international orders, and thats why your shipping and emails were a little behind the US ones (see the "pdf for UK/european subscribers" thread for more details)

Dark Archive

Ehrm, your tag do show as a Pathfinder Charter subscriber.

If it's about the waiting time for the pdf download, I think it's just a matter of hours, as international orders take a bit more time.

Liberty's Edge

Hours...HOURS... H O U R S . . .

ARE YOU KIDDING MAN?! I am counting seconds by now!!! ;)

The good news is that you are a Charter Subscriber (as evidenced by the tag next to your messageboard alias), and you will be getting Pathfinder Volume #1 as well as the free printed copy of th Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide.

The bad news is that our international subscriber's shipments of Pathfinder volume #1 are still in the process of being filled and shipped. This is because we need to fill out customs forms for each package, and it therefore just physically takes more time to ship. We are shipping them as fast as we can and we are working on creating ways to expedite the process for future volumes, but this means that we are learning as we go along. However, this also means that with every volume we will be getting better and better.

I apologize for the delay, but rest assured that we will always get your order out to you as quickly as possible.

Thanks,
cos

As I said quick and polite, thanks a lot Cosmo! :)

And thanks to all others who took the time and replied, of course.

I swear the charter subscriber tag just appeared! It really seems I am a bit confused. Now the "my subscription" page shows my PF-subscription beginning with #4 and I get #1 and #2 from the converted issues from Dragon. What's up with #3? I fear Lamashtu sang me song when I was lying in the cradle!!!

PS: Tom I am counting seconds, but until yesterday I had no internet at home. I went to my parents place before and after work and called friends to check my account every now and then. :) Now I can sit here in my kitchen and wait, finally!

We know that and thank you for that as well, it's really appreciated.

Flaming here on these boards about the delay is not meant serious, it just helps to fill in time and be part of it a bit earlier... now go ahead and ship my order so that I can download it! :)

Counting seconds as well, Aureus?!
Gosh, I drive to the Northern Sea in about 6 hours and hoped I could take the pdf (on my notebook) with me... SH*T!!!
Two more weeks.
I so hope Dungeon #140, #150 and Dragon #359 together with Pathfinder #1 will be on my desk when I come back. If not, someone has to suffer...MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I am so sad... You know, things like these make great motives to become an Über-Villain! ;)

That page has a few bugs right now. Gary will work on fixing them next week.
