Currently, St. Cuthbert. Formerly, it was Wee Jas, with Hextor in a fairly close third place slot.
But all the Core Beliefs articles have been superb. Just more (Cuthbert, Hextor) I find more useful than others (Bocob, Vecna).
Here's to the loss of a great series, all before we got to see Nerull redeemed.

I couldn't agree more about these articles and how sad it is that we will never see the remainder in print.
However ...
We do keep hearing that Paizo and Wizards remain great friends, and that there is a very good chance the two companies will work together on projects in the future.
Wouldn't it be great if they collected the existed Core Faiths articles, as well as wrote additional ones and put them out in a single volume (hardcover like the Dragon Compendium or softcover like the Monster Ecologies special volume). I would think it would sell very well.
Even if the two companied wouldn't actuall co-publish it, I'm guessing there would not be any reason Mr. Reynolds couldn't write the rest of the articles (as well as maybe even expand the existing ones ...) on a freelance basis FOR Wizards to publish. Certainly other Dragon, or ex dragon staff have done similar projects "on the side"
Just a thought ...

It would be like a Faiths and Pantheons for the Greyhawk deities. Neat-o!

I do not deny the possibility that we could see the rest of the deities in print in this new venue. And a continuation of Core Beliefs would go a HELL of a long way torwards Wizards getting my money on this new format. If it later lead to a complete print compilation of Core Beliefs articles, that would also get my money. Hell, Dragon Ecologies did.
I'm not a hard guy to please... For a D&D fan, anyway.
And I REALLY want Nerull. I mean, i know there's got to be more to him than "AHAHAHAHA, I'M A DEATH GOD THAT KILLS PEOPLE!"
Seriously. There's got to be more to it than that. There simply has to be.

I thought I heard that the Core Beliefs articles, as well as some of the other regular articles, like Demonomicon, will continue in WOTC's DI.
BTW -- I downloaded the Living Greyhawk Deities PDF (v2.0, March 2005), and while it's got a lot of gods, it needs some more writeups for a lot of 'em. Sounds like a grand idea for a fan project. :)

Really? Any idea where? Or can someone in the know conform or deny this if possible?
I wasn't a regular Dragon reader, but I always tried to get the issues with a Core Faith or a Demonomicon article.

FYI, Wizards hasn't approached me about doing any work for ... their new online content source (sorry, can't bring myself to say the name), in general or specifically about Core Beliefs. And honestly, as disappointed as I am with their decision to pull the D/D licenses from Paizo, they'd have to work hard to convince me to do so.
Contrariwise, I'm happy to keep working with Paizo and already working on the 2nd deity article for Pathfinder. :)
