Hey, I got a question about the cover, and I thought it would be better to put it here than to make a new thread.
Question: Who are the black figures on the board? (All positions referenced from Iggwilv's side, and assumes that she is playing white) I recognize Demo in her hand, the heroes in white, Obox-Ob on the back right (Black Queen position or Q-8), Dagon on the third row from Iggwilv's left (White Queen's Bishop-5), and who I think is Fraz-Urb'luu on the back row two over from Obbie (BK's B). But I don't recognize the other two. Comformation please?

The black figures are demon lords. They don't quite match the ones in the adventure, alas, but that's the idea. The one in her hand is certainly Demogorgon, and the one on its side is Graz'zt, and taht one certainly looks like Obox-ob.
The others were supposed to be Orcus and Malcanthet, but they don't really look like them. The painting's still super-awesome anyway, though! :)

Can't disagree with you there!
Yeah, I can see the one closest to the dwarf as being Malcanthet without the horns.(Why is it that every time I see her name I think malcontent instead of pronouncing correctly?) But I'll still claim that the winged one on the back row looks more like Fraz-Urb'luu than Orcus. Big bat wings, skinnier than Big Boy, and a round head are all very distinctive, if acidental. Though he does lack the ears.

So who's post-it doodles are those on the editorial page depicting Malash the super-sized shocker lizard from the Menagerie (Dungeon 146)? Curious creators want to know.
On a side note, I still have Tony Moseley's splash page from that adventure up as my home computer's wallpaper. It's just too much fun not to.
Ah, good times. May they roll.

Those post-it doodles would be mine. There's a lot of those little doodles hanging around the office, in fact; results of me suddenly needing to draw something that gets mentioned in the editorial pit. It seemed like a good idea to use some of them without explanation in an editorial that was a bit random in topic in the fist place.
Post-its not shown among those sitting around the office: the velociraptor wearing glasses, the kobold holding a piece of maize, the football grell, and the giant one-eyed vampiric flying walrus attacking Seattle.

You are planning on showing us those sometime soon, right? Please?
