I should think it would depend. If your avatar is a D&D mini, then maybe so. However, all the avatar art that originated in either Dungeon or Dragon would, I think, be owned by Paizo and not subject to the idiocy that is WotC.

Artworks sold become domestic domain....licensing is a corporate mantra that supports profitability for an imaginary entity created by an 1848 Law. I feel it is way past time to make tha corporate entity legally bound by our "Rule of Law", as we Individuals are.

I doubt it, because I think Paizo will still sell D&D minis. I'm not sure how I would react if my blue troll image went away. Blue is the color of my job...and that thing looks like it's holding one heck of a big night stick...I'd have to find another avatar with equally phallic implications....that or a donut.
