Gary, I think it would be a real plus if Paizo would establish a #pathfinder IRC channel, something similar to #greytalk. It would give you customers a place to hang out a discuss your work, as well as a place for your development team to "meet the masses."
*thumbs up*
Excellent idea. I know the informal chats that happen on DM Tools are fun, would love to see something like this for Pathfinder.
We're exploring chat options. Right now the most likely possibility seems like some sort of scheduled "online with the editors" type of thing, rather than an ongoing irc channel. However, if we do something like this it will be some time in the future -- I have a LOT of items on my todo list.
For now though, I think Lilith's chatroom is nifty and login there from time to time.

Thanks!

Daigle's always there...<.< Friday nights seem to be the busiest, a few of the Paizo guys like to drop in at that time. *waves to Phil, PostMonster and Cosmo*
So I see. I've been hanging there a little lately.
I've also opened a #pathfinder chat on the OtherWorlds IRC Network. Those interested in joining have two options:
GO HERE: http://irc.otherworlders.org/chat/cf.php and put #pathfinder as the channel
If you're using a chat client, such as mIRC, you can access the #pathfinder channel as follows:
SERVER: chat.psionics.net
PORT: 6667
CHANNEL: #pathfinder
Just for the sake of making things easier for others:
The chat.psionics.net server doesn't work for me, but if I connect to irc.otherworlders.org with my IRC client and join #pathfinder I get to an active Pathfinder channel.
This is an ancient, ancient thread...the unofficial chatroom is here. :)

Did something change?
Nothing changed, but an electrical problem at the colo facility means that we're down until about 9:30pm...maybe 8:30pm PST. :(

Well, that's crappy, I suppose I'll try again in half an hour. Thanks for the heads up Lilith.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This can't be true! I got up at 5:00 in the morning, the coffee's brewed and I was looking forward to see the good Dr. Jacobs talk! Oh, great old ones, what have I done that you failed me like that?
They don't like your coffee flavor ;)

I don't suppose there's an IRC server I can connect to directly, rather than using that half-baked Web interface -- is there?
