European Question

Hi,

This sucks, but I can't do anything about it, so a question if I may:

You state in teh FAQ's that European subscribers will get a cheque from TPFG, does that mean we can't switch to Pathfinder instead? WIll there be no European distributor/subscription fulfilment? Does that mean we'll be treated to a horrendous postage charge from the US?

Thanks,

Lewis.

Yes. European privacy laws prevent us from obtaining certain information about you from The Place for Games; this is the easiest way to get you taken care of.

Pathfinder will be availble to FLGSs worldwide.

Month-to-month subscriptions are also available worldwide; for the foreseeable future, shipping is $4 per copy to the US, and $5 internationally.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer, which is fair comment, and that's really reasonable for shipping, thanks!

Oh and thanks generally, the fact that you're putting such effort into answering everyone's questions both proves you do care about your customers, keeping us loyal, and shows the gulf with WOTC in respect of the difference in the companys' attitudes.

Cheers,

Lewis.

Dark Archive

and I've just been and signed up for a Pathfinder subscription!

Thanks again,

Lewis.

Does the mean that the "overall cost" of a "European subscription" to Pathfinder will only be 1$/month more than a US subscription? Is that right?

Yup!

Yesterday when I put the month-to-month sub of Pathfinder into my shopping cart I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the shipping costs to Europe for Pathfinder. Now I just have to survive the time until Pathfinder finally ships. Me wants to have PF1 in me hands with them cutsey goblins on the cover!

Another question, and this seems to be the thread for it:

I am also in Europe (or the UK, to be exact), but I have the opposite problem.

My Dungeon subscription runs out before August, and I really don't want to miss those last few issues, but the renewal option seems to have disappeared (if you aren't in the US or Canada, anyway). Is there any way to renew my Dungeon subscription for the last few issues?

If possible, I'd add a Dragon subscription for the last few months too, even though I wasn't a subscriber before.

James,

I'll refer to Lisa's answer to this question field in this thread:

When we get back in the office next week (we are all at the GAMA Trade Show in Las Vegas this week) I will rally the troops and figure out how to offer a month-to-month sub for our international subscribers. So keep watching for it in a couple of weeks. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Thanks,

Is there no other payment method than by credit card? I live in Germany too and there's no FLGS close, so I'm wondering what to do to get me some Pathfinder...

My transition worked, but I am also from Europe. So I guess the payback by check is only for people who ordered directly from TPFG and not for those who ordered from paizo.com.

I just spoke to The Place For Games and they will be offering partial subscriptions up to the end of the time Paizo will be printing the two mags. We should be getting letters shortly.
