Ptolus + STAP=?

Anyone use Ptolus as a default background setting for STAP? I would wonder how "Chaostech" might fit in with the path?

I think, as STAP is mostly "out of town", it wouldn't work that good with Ptolus.
I presently try to fit AoW into Ptolus, with the Whispering Cairn situated in the Necropolis and disregarding Diamond Lake at all. With, IIRC, two exceptions all adventures might work inside of Ptolus...

What about Sasserine as a colony of Ptolus?
