The Savage Tide Conversion Notes for running "Here There Be Monsters" in Eberron and the Forgotten Realms are now available.

Thaks loads! I was curious, however... You wouldn't know anything about the conversion notes for 'The Sea Wyvern's Wake' would you? I found the conversion notes 1 & 2 and you just posted 4, will there be a 3?

I'd like to see The Sea Wyvern's Wake conversion notes too please, as I have no clue where to place the Isle of Dread. My group will be playing this adventure on March 1st, so some notes before then will help greatly.

Even just a quick post telling me where to place the Isle would solve virtually all my problems.

Thanks!

There was a mixup at our end, and the conversions for #4 got posted before #3. The conversions for "Sea Wyvern" are in the works and should hopefully be up in a few days.

Cool! I didn't need them right away or anything. I just like to be read up a module or so ahead of what I'm running. Thanks again.

That makes two of us dude... Well actually I posted on a WoTC forum about where to place The IoD in Eberron, and someone helped me with the very first paragraph of the First conversion notes here at Paizo, I had it in front of me the whole time!! That gave me an idea where to place it, nevertheless I'm very desperate to get those SWW conversion notes, because of the other destinations of the journey. I'll be running SWW tomorrow and I had to make up every destination. I hope the upcoming conversion notes don't take too much like this one.

I'm almost afraid to ask ... but how's it going with the SWW conversions?

Still waiting as well...Herrrooooo???

Any word on those conversion notes?

Maybe we should make our own.

Who wants to start?

They're stuck in the same place they've been stuck. If I can't get it solved tomorrow during a meeting with the art directors, I'm going to probably just start posting them here on the messageboards, just to get the text out there. It's not ideal and it's kind of rinky-dink, but it's better than nothing.

Thank you, sir.

Best boards ever. Quality.

HUZZAH! Just in time for my session on Thursday hopefully!

I'm going in to make the last round of changes to the text for "Sea Wyvern's Wake's" conversions as soon as I post this, and it should be able to go online soon thereafter.

Ok: final edits have been entered. The file's being sent over soon to go online.

Woo hoo! Just in time! I'll be much more prepared for tonight now :)

Yay Paizo!

+4 for a sunk pirate ship?

err.. i mean they will be chewing thru 8 ships in no time, ie a +32, and full nimbral lordship..

I noticed in the Eberron notes, the PC's route now follows the east coast of Khorvaire and heads due south. But which of the islands down there is the Isle of Dread (and hence, their destination)? Keep in mind this is now a LOT different than what others previously believed, including me, that the group is supposed to head straight east towards Sarlona.

I have to second this. The exact destination is still very vague. The first conversion notes say that it is located somewhere in the Dragonreach, but where?

Same question for me... I replaced most of the journey destinations with some of the unnamed isles north of Sasserine (In the Lhazaar Principalities), one thing I guessed right is the Brotherhood Blockade encounter, I was planning as an encounter involving Prince Mika's Cloudreavers. My IoD is located in the Sea of Rage, but I just realized the IoD is somewhere in the Dragonreach, the question is, where? Any visual aids anyone?
Thx.

My advice is to place it anywhere you want in the approximate location. The isle is a big place, but it's also one that's not well-known. It probably shouldn't be an island that's appeared on a map before, in any event.

Thanks James for the tip!

That actually makes a lot of sense. Not many people who visit this island make it back alive I would suspect. Also, what's the point in Lavinia going to all this trouble to colonize it when pretty much anybody else with more resources could do it faster than her, and snatch up the investment. Having it missing from most maps keeps it mysterious and exclusive to her and her family.
