I haven't bothered to look up the two terms in Wikipedia (laziness, must you dog me even here?), so the details might be off. I'm not familiar enough with FR to know how the Realms use Fiddler's Green, but historically the term refers to something quite different from Davey Jones' Locker. Fiddler's Green is a mythical paradise for sailors full of pretty women, lots of land (i.e. no sea/sailing/hard work), and pleasant weather. Davey Jones' Locker is where a sailor ends up when he drowns at sea. I think that the moral is, if you can avoid drowning, and hang out in enough opium dens, you might get to Fiddler's Green.
At any rate, no reason Davey Jones' Locker couldn't exist in Greyhawk. You could substitute the name Davey Jones for any sea devil of your liking.

I was thinkin something refering to Demogorgon & not because of ST either, but as his layer on the Abyss is water. Mainly wanted to capture the feel of the World of Greyhawk, as my scene descriptions are what really carry the background & such, with my game online & such.
but I thought of "Demogorgon's grasp"
good ideas thou
thanks

The Demogorgon connection is a great idea... "Demogorgons Demesne"... or "Dungeon"? Sweeeeeet....

the depths of the sea could be 'demogorgon's maw' somewhat logical since demogorgon is worshipped by some amedio savages, by ixitxachtil and by kopru and demogorgon's layer of the abyss is called gaping maw
on a lighter note, in the sea of dust gygax/gord book, gygax had a sailor swear by "procan's pearly pizzle."
