Have any of you fleshed out the tricolor flags on Rowyn's map of Sasserine?

My players will soon get there. I will have the Telvanta Academy marked as an ally for later on Rowyn's family launches Diamondback and her crew against the PCs so it seems logical.

Havent come up with any other extras. Maybe the Meravanchis as an enemy for some unknown reason... dunno yet... Any other ideas?

btw, i used your news flashes in game. printed them out and handed them to the players as a local Sasserine gazeteer. They thought it was an official supplement :) everyone enjoyed it a lot! good work on that one mate!

Thanks. I've been meaning to make some more, but haven't had the time. If people would stop dropping mortars on my base, I'd get more writing in! But, if you think they're useful, I'll make a point of doing more.

I too used your news paper article... it was very cool, MAKE MORE! :P

mortars at your base? what do you mean?

gaborg, I'm in the desert Iraq. (Sorry for the distracting reference. I know it was OT.)

Thank you for being there EP.

we could argue about this for ages, but this is something we should not discuss here... anyway sorry for putting this here...

They why did you put it here!?!?!

It is pretty tasteless to tell someone who isn't the one making the choices that he shouldn't be there. I mean the guy actually has mortars being dropped on his base!

As for diplomacy being formed through violence... I would challenge that they all have been. Look at the American revolution, look at the French revolution... and England's change was in response to that. In one way or another people fighting for their rights or the rights of other HAS always made a change.

Bottom line, even if you don't like what he has to be doing, don't take it out on him.

i took it off, you are right, this is rpg heaven, shouldn't be spoiled with such topics.

and i havent been taking out on him.. i feel sorry for EP, i feel sorry for everyone being involved in other people's violence..

sorry again!

ps: i just felt bad about someone thanking him for being there... it doesnt make any sense...

EP - I was still in when we went to Afghanistan, had my Terminal leave and ETS suspended for two years and got deployed out there. So I know how you feel out there.

Politics aside, from one former soldier to an active duty brother in arms - thank you for your service. The military is one of the most honorable vocations there is, and you just keep doing your job and come home alive and safe.

I Feel thankful for all of the people that have put themselfs in harms way for the last 200+ years. I did not read the post you put up but I do not feel wrong or out of place for thanking everyone that serves, I do thank them and none of them have ever taken offence to it. It does make sence.

And just because I cant sut up. I do not think this war was the best way to deal with the world now but it is happening and we need to be thankful that the war is not here and never will be because of people like EP.

takes a moment to collect thoughts...

I am proud to be a soldier. Don't feel sorry for me. It's my job. Don't think it's wierd to thank me. I thank the waitress when she brings my order. Like I said, it's my job.

Can we stop talking about this and get back to discussing the Lotus Dragon War Room?

Gaborg,

I am impressed. I think I over reacted a bit in my response and you handled it like a champ.

Now I just wish I had something to add to actual discussion to get it back on track...

How about telling what other allies and enemies you have come up with for the Lotus Dragon war room map. :)

The Bloodthirsty Pelican (Azure District #6): I've decided that this establishment is run as a front for illicit Kellani family business interests. On the top floor, in a fake attic, is a safe room for Lotus Dragon operatives.

It also serves as a "back door" to Kellani Manor. Should any of the Kellanis need to evacuate their home in a hurry, they can take an underground tunnel (a covered "sewer pipe" with a small boat) to the Pelican.

The war room map has the Pelican tagged as an ally.
