I'm looking to begin an online play by email campaign. I'm interested in serious gamers who would be able to post at least once a day. The setting would take place in the Forgotten Realms Campaign setting. The game would be a hybrid of play by email and also by play in the chat room when we can all get together. Hopefully once a week. Please publicly reply here if interested.

I am interested, but require more details; checking in once a day is easy; getting together once a week in a chat is more trouble depending on the day as i am a family man.
care to give a little background and what races, classes; and rules you will be using? ie core books; any d20 sytem; ect.; thanks. By background I am refering to how dark the setting is likely to be; where it will be as in on the sea; land; underground; mostly city; whatnot.
Also, I have TS ie teamspeak.

Sounds very interesting. I never played by E-mail but always wanted to. I am GMT +2 but I never sleep so that shouldn't be a problem...

Good questions all. Let me be more specific. I am beginning a 1st level campaign set in the Forgotten Realms. The role-playing and combat is well balanced in my opinion.
The campaign will be run through Ghostorb.com....both the play by post campaign and the client server when we can get together. I was hoping to meet once a week for 2-3 hours and play via the server/chat. Or bi-weekly as I am a family man with many responsibilities as well. It isn't that I don't want to play it is just a matter of priorities. I know I speak for many. I can definitely commit however to responding to posts daily and once a week playing through the client or bi-weekly.
I am looking for 2 more players for a total of 4 players. Once we have the players then we'll determine schedules.
I am operating on Eastern Time here. Michigan native.
I should also warn that Ghostorb.com is not free. The membership fee is $27.00 for 6 months. Paltry fee however since it is a one stop for all gaming needs. The client server is the closest thing to table-top gaming that you are going to get. Whenever we finish a session we revert right back to play by post. So it is a hybrid of play by post and client server when possible....the only goal being enjoyment for all, quality gaming, and continuious progression of the game 24/7
I am looking for only 2 players.
If still interested after hearing more details: reply with the following:
Your age
Gaming experience
Favored character class that you like to play
And...why should I choose you...above all others who apply.
Remember I'm lookng for committment.
There is some maturity among the 3 gamers already playing. I am 40 and the other two players are 40 and 37 respectively.
There are some things that do get better with age.......

For those interested, there are a couple play-by-post games I am aware of...One I am currently in, two will be starting soon, and one I may run in the future.
The first is an Eberron 3.5 game. We're almost at full capacity but could use an arcane or divine caster.
The Streets of Xandrar Has the general character creation rules and such.
The second game is a D20 Future game. "A rogue universe, nicknamed Dimension-X, is destroying parallel realities, alternate Earths where simple deviations in historical events have caused glaring differences. Can a small team of soldiers, explorers, and scientists restore the fabric of reality before it is too late or will their world also be swallowed up by the rogue universe?" For more information check out Dimension-X
The third game is a DOD Colonies game using a heavily modified 3.5 system invlolving a vastly unexplored frontier, savage tribes of elves, an unsettling new form of magic, and a schism among the Celestials. For more information, check out The Dark Hour
The Gamer Zoo is also recruiting GM's to run other play-by-post games. Please come check us out if you are interested. All games are 100% play by post.
