I just noticed that Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss is slated for release soon -- and a significant portion of Savage Tide is to take place in the Abyss. It this coincidence?
Assuming it isn't, how much of Fiendish Codex will be useful?
Just curious :)

Since Erik and I wrote most of the Fiendish Codex I can pretty much assure you it's not a coincidence. While Savage Tide won't require any books beyond the Core Rules to run, other WotC books will certainly be useful in expanding the adventure. Fiendish Codex I will be one of these; we'll definately be drawing upon the book for monsters and concepts and stuff in the last 3rd of the Adventure Path.

Would it be possible to have pictures of the monsters that are not from the MM1 in the adventures this time, not just their stats?
I had a hard time to explain how some of the monsters that are not in the monster manual look like (although I remember there were some descriptions).
WotC keeps all of the art from their various books available online. All of it.
you should be able to print out just about any monster pic you need, if you go to the wizards website art galleries.

Correct. I pull images from there all the time.

Will we see that demogorgon demon-thingy monster creature from that adults only hush, hush adventure in either Fiendish Codex or Savage Tides?
By the way, what was that demon called and the adventure? I don't have my books handy.
Also, will any of the NPCs in Demogorgon's entry in BoVD make an appearance in Savage Tides? Methinks they will.

Flopsy. His name was Flopsy.
Aw, that came off all snotty. I don't remember; I was just looking at his ugly mug last night too.

Iggwilv in Fiendish Codex....okay, now I gotta buy that one too. I presume Paizo will offer a copy autographed by both authors? (That's what they do when they're asleep--their hands are bolted to a signature 'bot)
If this was the case, it would justify buying it from Paizo and paying for the international mailing costs!
(my god, I am really becoming a Paizo fanboy)

Aha! It was issue 95, The Porphyry House Horror (by that maniac James Jacobs), and it was called an orlath (CR 14) and should appear in the APIII when the PCs are levels 11-17th at least. Mmmm? Look for an advanced specimen with possible class levels in at least one of the adventures :)
Am I close, am I close?!
It most definetly will appear in Fiendish Codex. I mean, James made up the demon himself!

So will any of the NPC's be taking PrC's from the book of Vile Darkenss? Isn't that the book with the PrC that follow the Demon princes? I may finally get to use that book. ;)
The use of Prestige Classes (or monsters or spells or magic) from the Book of Vile Darkness in Savage Tide wouldn't surprsie me in the least, especially since that's one of the books we go to for just these expansion elements fairly often for adventures.
