palladium needs help

Off-Topic Discussions

i know this is paizo's website, but i, and i am sure others, have played rifts, or heroes unlimited, or robotech, or some other palladium game. they have gotten owned by internal betrayal that i cannot explain better than this site does: http://forums.palladium-megaverse.com/viewtopic.php?t=57048

take some time and check this out. 25 years of products could be gone if palladium fans dont help.

That's really too bad. RIFTS is one of my favorite games even thought Palladium's system is a little unwieldy. Unfortunately, I haven't bought any books for it in years becasue I don't have the time to play it any more.

Maybe Paizo can start offering Palladium books for sale here? That would give them a little wider audience.

D'oh. That's what I get for posting before looking.

What exactly is this internal betrayal? The post by Siembieda only mentioned the factors that were agravating the betrayal but didn't specify the betrayal itself.
I used to play Rifts quite a bit until 3.0 came out. Then everything just seemed so sucky compared to D&D

He's never going to say what the betrayal is. He's probably

1)embarrassed (I don't mean this the wrong way--I've been ripped off before too)
2)thinking it's nobody's but the company's business anyway
3)keeping quiet on it until the legal ramifications/law suit/whatever are figured out.
Additionally, I noticed on the palladium site they now have a place to make Paypal donations.

Hey, Other Guy, have you spread the word to Wizards et. al? What other sites have you hit, cos I'll do the rounds on them if you haven't allready. I loves me some Rifts; a world without Palladium books=Suck world.

obviously, sjgames and their messageboards already know. its their daily illuminator. i dont frequent many boards, so please do the rounds, heathansson. thanks for the help.

Thank you for posting this!!! My honey and I are on our way to assist Siembieda!

Palladium & D&D v3.5 are my favorite gaming systems out there, so to not support this would be downright criminal.

Hey, other guy! I did some rounds, here and there, and met with much ambivalence and schaden frohe. I give up on that.
Too much hardcore fanboys for me. It all sounds good on the Palladium site, though; I think they'll pull it off.
There's a Paypal donation option now, for poorly folk like me.

Yep; loosing the Rifts Palladium Heroes Unlimited guys would surely suck and wound us all. Back in the old days, they used to advertise in Dragon Magazine and Dragon wasn't so exclusively all about Dungeons and Dragons. I am not sure what kind of help would really be useful. Just how many game systems can a guy own and have space for, me and most of my friends own many of there books; one friend owns them all. Like I have always said; so many games; so little time.
