I'm hoping one of you Dungeon / Dragon Magazine gurus can tell me if there's been any material centered on the Tuigan Horde in said magazines? I'm especially interested in anything since the 3.0/v3.5 conversion, but I'll take anything at this point. Anyone out there "in the know?"
I don't know of any in the recent past, but I've got an adventure idea circulating in my brain right now involving the Tuigan. If I can flesh it out, I'm hoping it can make it in. =)

The only thing, other than the novels and the four official products, that I could come up with was a pull-out from Dragon 163 entitled A Hoard for the Horde, which gave four monsters that didn't make it into The Horde box set.
Interesting. I'll have to see what's in that issue. I love the Tuigan, and it's one of the more underdeveloped areas of FR.

Agreed. Right now I'm trying to track down all references to Khazari. Other than the info in The Horde, though, I'm a little at a loss. I'm assuming there might be a reference in Kara-Tur, but I haven't read through it yet to find out.

what about the 3 modules that came out the same time as the horde boxed set? Black Coarser..Solon...that's where the Imaskari idea came from no?

You can quit looking. ;) Neither Khazari nor Ra-Khati were mentioned in Kara-Tur materials.

Indeed. The only place I've been able to find information on Khazari or Ra-Khati are the three Tuigan adventures and _The Horde_ boxed set. There is a mention of the Tuigan in _Unapproachable East_, but it's only applicable to Thesk.

I just read through The Horde and Kara-Tur. Other than the lack of information on the areas I really wanted to know about, the one thing I noticed was the utter lack of consolidated / useful information in both books. They go to great pains to talk about the tribes of the Horde in The Horde, so you'd think there was some concise information somewhere about each one, right? Negative. The section entitled "The Tribes" is all of a few paragraphs long, and send you to get information about half of the tribes from the Kara-Tur set (which doesn't do much better). Very uncool.

Part of the problem, in my opinion, is that the Hordelands have always been one of those places that was left 'to be developed.' If you haven't read the novels (I have all three of them) then you really are left out of a lot of the information on the Tuigan (which are really just one of the tribes of the horse nomads in the Hordelands - it's not the name of the race or the country).
I've loved the location and run events there in past games. I loved the Empire Adventures Trilogy but I've lost my original copies of the adventures.
Does anyone know of any webresources out there? I've done a Google search, but it didn't pull anything up that jumped up and down like Candlekeep or Canonfire or Athas.
