Seems the folks at this Georgia online retailer have quite the sense of humor and timing...or maybe it's just a coincidence:

BTW-I don't work for them, or for any candy company either, but those worms are giving Swedish Fish a run for the money at my gaming table...
Umm, that link points to a G.I. Joe thing-y now. What did it originally point to?
I went there and did not find it.
Where on that site was it?
Wasn't able to find it, either, but you just gave met the idea to set out a bowl of Gummi Worms at one of our game sessions. I think I'll wait until the game after one of the heroes first gets infested with a Kyuss worm, HAW!

Pretty funny stuff.
Yeah, I can use it as a bowl, ashtray, or a paperweight, but the question remains: would Kyuss put it on his dining table?

Thanks for catching that, Markus...I was away on the Astral plane... :)
There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip, as they say...
The new link works. I have a realistic (fake) rotting skull
in storage.
If it does not have a flip top I can always stuff gummy
worms into the eye, nose, and mouth openings.
I think the jaw is hinged.
POSTSCRIPT:
So I ordered this dingus, and it turns out to be the size of a monkey's skull, about 3"x3", with room only for the smallest of gummi worms (I've seen three different sizes sold). It has a nice felt-covered bottom, flat, and is detailed with weathering. The top of the skull has a notched lid with three notches, so this is indeed meant to be an ashtray. I guess it just sells better depicted with worms than with half-smoked devilweed cheroots hanging out of it...and nobody smokes in my gaming crew!
Still, the idea of taking a bag of Gummi Worms to the game session and throwing them at the players during Encounter at Blackwall Keep is worth the thread.
Thank you, Fletch! My players are under Greyhawk in 'The Champions Belt' and, with a party of six, will face more than their share of worm-ridden undead. I may just hand out the worms as tokens to keep track of the mayhem...
I found a plastic screaming skull for 99 cents at Walgreens right after Halloween, the very night the players discovered the wind trap in the Cairn. The thing was exactly to scale, one of the best props I've ever used.
